Draliman Through the Ages Part 2 – Dralisaurus

For the second part of our series “Draliman Through the Ages” we visit a time when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, and one dinosaur in particular – the fearsome killer Dralisaurus!

Dralisaurus

Catch up with “Draliman Through the Ages”!
Part 1 – Dralamoeba

The team at DraliDoodlesTM have raided their piggy banks and bought a cheapo graphics tablet. They still can’t draw, but now they can’t draw more professionally. Enjoy!

Drawings by can’t draw artists are the best! Who needs a polished illustrator anyway?

Your lack of drawing skills are improving day by day. I think you will have to admit that you really CAN draw one of these days. Try to cope ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeeks. Not being able to draw is my “thing” ๐Ÿ™‚
To be fair, this comic strip took around 3 hours! Partly because I had to use two different programs to put it all together.

Such a cute dinosaur. Can I adopt him? Also, will the matchstick men be making a comeback at some point? I hope all this new technology does not mean you will leave your signature look behind!

He was supposed to be ferocious! I think he would be quite a handful if adopted ๐Ÿ™‚
I wasn’t sure a matchstick dinosaur would actually work – I’m sure the matchstick men will still be around. I think the next part of the series – “Drali-ug the Caveman”, or possibly Ug the CaveDrali” – will have matchstick men in (the pictures on the previous Time Twister post used the graphics tablet and they’re still matchsticks)!

I think it will be many years before I can draw an actual person!

Hmm, yes, a matchstick dinosaur may have looked a little odd . . .

Thanks! I had fun drawing them, though it took quite a long while. It was my first real go with my new graphics tablet!

I got a Wacom Bamboo CTL-470 off Amazon. It’s one of the cheap ones (around ยฃ40) but it works really well! It also came with a download code for a free version of ArtRage, which works really well for drawing.
I actually like a couple of my drawings and I have never been able to draw – grab yourself a tablet today!

Been looking at Amazon (the American version) and they have this new version of it, and a few other varieties, but the brand new one has no reviews. Also, have to figure out a good excuse for why I need it, since it’s about 100 dollars US. Um. Cause . . . my blog!

Always tricky when a new version of something comes out – no reviews and it’s not always an improvement. Sometimes I buy the older version of something because of that. My boss has one for work like the one I bought and he liked it, so I bought the same model.
