Weekly Photo Challenge: Sea
Weekly Photo Challenge: Sea – share a photo which means SEA to you.
The sea – wild, vast, untameable.
Extending along the cliffs and to the horizon.
Waves lapping up against the cliffs in secluded inlets.

Cornwall is so beautiful. I climbed (down) the cliffs long ago, the only cliff climbing I’ve ever done. Strange how the North Atlantic looks the same on both side, isn’t it? We are not separated by an ocean. We are CONNECTED by it! Beautiful pictures.

That’s lovely – “connected” rather than “separated” by the ocean.
Cornwall is beautiful – I’ve been quite lucky in many of the places I’ve lived. And living in the middle I’m only about 4 miles from the north coast and 10 from the south, so I’ve got plenty of coast to choose from!

Wow, Cornwall has so many beautiful beaches. Perranporth is my favourite. I used to take my kids there on holiday & they would spend hours exploring & collecting stuff in buckets 🙂

Perranporth is nice because it’s big, totally sandy and it tends to be quite shallow for quite a distance out. There are rock pools and the dunes are great for walking on as well.
Something for every inquisitive kid!

It’s incredible how the tide there goes out so far & reveals a fantastic playground of rock pools & caves, but it comes back in a bit unpredictably so I used to keep a keen eye on it & round the kids up before it filled up the caves & separated us from the beach lol.

You do have to be careful – every year we hear stories of somebody getting cut off by the tide.
