Draliman Through the Ages Part 4 – Sir Drali of Dralishire
For part 4 of our epic journey through time, we catch up with one of Draliman’s most famous ancestors – Sir Drali of Dralishire. Let’s see what he’s up to!
We can learn three important lessons from this:
- An awesome reputation is all very well, but you may need to back it up one day!
- Arrogance and over-confidence can be your downfall
- Out of all the things I can’t draw, horses have moved up near the top of the list!

Part 1 – Dralamoeba
Part 2 – Dralisaurus
Part 3 – Dralug the CaveDrali

Horses are a bitch to draw. Then again, if they weren’t, I wouldn’t have Rainbow Donkey….

I googled “horses running” to check which way the back legs bent but that was as far as my research took me 🙂
I’m a big fan of Rainbow Donkey!

Ha! I do that too, try to use a real picture as a guide anytime I have RD doing anything more complicated than standing, and it still ends up looking like crap!

The charging horses are faintly reminiscent of Dralisaurus without the tail, but I’m glad you liked it!

I’ve got ideas for at least three more so far which will bring us up to Elizabethan times! Obviously at some point I’m going to run out of history 🙂
I’m going to try to avoid trying to draw any more horsies.
