Happy Holidays!

It’s nearly Christmas! Woohoo!

I’ve switched on the snow on my blog, so it must be nearly here.

Join with me, if you will, in appreciating the most awesome Christmas rhyme of all time…

“‘Twas the night before Christmas,
and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
except… the four assholes coming in the rear in standard two-by-two cover formation.”

…taken from the most awesome Christmas film of all time!

Die Hard

Now I have a machine gun. Ho ho ho.

Well, it’s set at Christmas time anyway. So tuck yourself up on the sofa with drinks and snacks and enjoy an evening of mayhem with Bruce!

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone 🙂

Although it’s not exactly a heart warming tale of peace and tranquillity (or Santa), it just says “Christmas” to me 🙂

Merry Christmas! Hopefully Bruce Willis doesn’t show up at your door to let you know your use of the poster wasn’t fair enough…. 😉

Crumbs, I didn’t think of that. Good job it’s Die Hard and not Expendables. I reckon I can handle Brucie but the whole lot of them might be a bit much for me 🙂

I’m probably a little over-cautious when it comes to copyright issues, especially when something is so readily available from so many websites, but I worry about things like that 😦

Ho Ho Ho to you. Hope your day went well and you over ate.

Side question. You spent time and money on your new home yet you don’t know where the laundry is?
Isn’t that more of a concern that following copyright laws?
    I’m confused again.

I most definitely over ate! I couldn’t eat any tea, I was so full 🙂

Very few houses have an actual laundry. The washing machine goes in the kitchen – the seller has a washing machine plumbed in so I’ll just plug mine in wherever she has hers!
The thing is, I’m a bloke. I can’t remember what the walls are like or what colour the carpet is or anything like that. I’ll find out once I move in! I have years ahead of me to sort everything out. As long as everything finds a place, it’s all good.
Throughout this whole business, “one thing at a time” has been my motto. I know a lot of people take great care about where the plug sockets are and so on when they’re house hunting, but I just wanted to find somewhere first and then sort it out later. No problem is insurmountable 🙂

Your right. I forgot your laundry setup is different than ours.
Congratulation’s on your new home purchase, that is a biggie in life.
I hope you find joy in owning your home.

I’m sure I will enjoy it!
I’m signing the papers in a week so I’m looking at mid-January at the earliest for actual ownership. Once it’s all completed I’ll post pictures and whatnot.
