Look At Me!

Smashing – it’s time for the first Friday Fictioneers of 2014! Rochelle is our host, and this week’s photo has been supplied by her daughter-in-law!

How did the doggy get up there?

All the other amazing entries can be viewed here.

As a special “treat” since it is the first Fictioneers of 2014, I have popped one of my infamous DraliDoodles at the end so that you can all gaze in awe1 at my amazing2 artistic skills3.

Notes:
1 – “awe” is an unlikely emotion when viewing DraliDoodles
2 – “amazing” is an incorrect term when used to describe DraliDoodles
3 – “skills” – this word has been used incorrectly in this instance

Look at me! Look at me! I am at the top of the tree, oh yes. On top of the world!

Ruler of the planet! Bwahahaha!

Gaze upon me from the ground far below, tiny human child, for I am supreme! I cast my eye over the whole of creation, and I shall rule it all. The grass, the trees, the humans, my fellow canines – all will bow down and pay homage to me!

I am King of the… wait, what’s the female human bringing out? Are those… dog treats? Oh boy! Make way, coming down! Clear the way! Woof!

Ha… indeed… a dogs attention span can easily be broken by a bitch or food… must like most men… hmm

I guess it would translate to something like “And now I’m going to… hang on, what’s that supermodel in the Ferrari delivering? Ooh, beer and pizza!”

    Dear Ali,

I do believe you’ve captured the inner-workings of Dog. His kingdom surrendered for a doggie treat. I give it two paws up.

Happy New Year, Woof and Shalom,

    Rochelle

I loved this. How quickly the focus changes when treats are dangled. So clever, made me think of the commercials for Beggin strips dog treats. I fear this dog will not find world domination when so easily manipulated by a little girl. 🙂

This was great. I’m fairly certain dog treats were invented to keep the canines from taking over the world. They can’t focus on anything else once the treats come out. The DraliDoodle is a nice touch. haha

Mmm, bacon. I wouldn’t care if it said “for doggie” on the packet, if it has bacon in it then I’ll eat it 🙂

A few years ago a co-worker took the bacon out of her breakfast roll and chucked it in the bin. Seconds later it was out of the bin and in my mouth. You wouldn’t believe the fuss! It was all round the company in minutes. It’s the 10 second rule, right? Right?

Very Ozymandog! I like the Ozymandog doodles too. There’s a moral in this humorous tale/tail. Something about keeping one’s carnal impulses underpaw! 🙂

Treats are the best dog controls ever! Although my terrier might choose a flying leap from the tree in order to get one, and that would end poorly.
