Sharing My World Week 3
Cee over at Cee’s Photography blog has this cool challenge ever week where we get to share our world! She poses four questions every week and we answer them as humorously honestly as possible. Here is the cool badge.
Here are this week’s questions, along with my answers.
In what do you find the simplest of joys?
I enjoy being out in nature, long walks along the beach, cuddling up in front of a roaring fire, small animals… oh wait, that’s my online dating profile! Sorry about that. Small copy and paste malfunction. How very embarrassing.
I would say my Saturday evening pizza, except that it’s far from simple trying to choose what cool DVD to watch while I’m eating.
I like sitting out in the middle of nowhere next to a little gurgling river best, with no cares in the world. This has happened to me, at the location depicted below.
I sat with my back against the tree you can see on the left of the photo. You can see more pictures of this excursion of my mini-holiday here.
Jello or Pudding? And what is your favourite flavour?
I’m going with pudding on this one (working on the assumption that “Jello” is what we in the UK call “jelly”), but I’m not sure what type. I love Black Forest Gateau, strawberry gateau, all sorts of gateaux! Also chocolate brownies with Cornish Clotted Cream, ice cream, Eton Mess, the list is endless. Mmm, pudding 🙂
Is there a language you would like to learn?
There certainly is! I would like to become fluent in Klingon. All those juicy swear words! Just think of your friends’ faces when you insult them in Klingon and they have no idea what you just said as you laugh at their ignorance inside your head. For example,
“largh SoH rur baboon ‘ej taj jejHa'”
apparently means “You smell like a baboon and your dagger is blunt” (according to Bing translate). How cool is that? Apparently there’s no Klingon word for baboon.
Failing that I’d like to learn Hobbit (the films were translated for us) so that when I visit them in New Zealand I can impress them with my knowledge of their tongue, and will be welcomed into their burrows.
Do you prefer juice or fruit?
Or even fruit juice? I like some fruit – the softer ones like peaches and grapes and bananas. I love fruit juice, though. I find apple juice very refreshing.
That’s all for this week! Tune in again next week for more question-answering mayhem 🙂

Black Forest Gateau? That sounds amazing.
You may be on to something with your copy/paste “error”. Maybe at the end of the year I’ll just put all my responses to these up as a dating profile and see what happens LOL

Chocolatey creamy cherry goodness!
That’s a good idea about the dating profile. Maybe I’ll try it as well – should garner some interesting responses at any rate (possibly in Klingon).
