False Advertising
I bought this bottle of Diet Coke yesterday. “Share a Diet Coke with Kirsty”.
I sat there drinking it for an hour. Did the promised “Kirsty” ever show up?
No, she did not.
What a scam.

You have to report this to the fashion police 😀

Well maybe it’s for the best, she might have wanted more than her fair share of Coke 🙂

I hadn’t thought of that. This way I got to drink it all!

Al, Again this was laugh out loud hilarious. XD You may have to excuse Kirsty. She’s probably got a backlog of men waiting for her. Indeed, she may be booked solid with drinking buddies for the next couple of months or more. Well done once again. 😀 —Susan

Thanks 🙂
I didn’t consider that her dance card could be quite full for the duration. Poor girl must be kept quite busy!

I don’t know the advertisement or the brand but I didn’t have to, to understand the wit. 🙂

It’s the “Coca-Cola Company”, I’m guessing the biggest drinks manufacturer in the world. I wasn’t aware of this particular advertising campaign either. Someone told me they encouraged people to contact them with names they wanted on the bottles, not sure if that’s true or not.

Who is Kirsty and why is she on a diet Coke bottle? Is that the new “bathroom wall”?

I was told it’s some sort of social media advertising campaign.
That’s actually the wall of a church hall in Truro. I had to be careful which way I pointed the camera as the meeting I was at has “anonymous” in the title 🙂

I think you are supposed to drink part of it, then send the rest to Kirsty. I believe the legal definition of “share” doesn’t necessarily mean face to face…

Aw hell. I drank the whole lot myself. No Kirsty for me 😦

I’m befuddled here, what is a Kristy?
Coke Zero, yum, Diet Coke yuck!

“Kirsty” is a girl’s name. It’s part of a social media ad campaign apparently, the shop had bottles with lots of names on. There was even a QR code on the bottle to share my Coke-drinking experience! Which I didn’t scan.
I’m sure I tried Coke Zero once and found it too sweet.

The only good Coke is a Coke that someone else is drinking!

Ah, so you’re a Pepsi man 🙂

Nope. The only two soft drinks I like are Sprite (with a jigger of whiskey) and root beer, but I do find Coke and its iterations to be particularly distasteful.
