Sharing My World Week 30

Hello there and welcome to me Sharing My World. Share Your World is hosted by Cee at her photography blog. There are some tricky questions this week.

share-your-world2

List 2 things you have to be happy about.
I’m really bad at things like gratitude lists, but the word here is “happy” rather than “thankful”. Phew.

I’m happy that I’ve got my little house. It’s somewhere I can finally call home.

I’m also happy that, um, I’m not unhappy.

There you go. Two things!

List at least 2 things in nature do you find most beautiful.
I like little streams and waterfalls. I also like lakes, and looking down at the sea from the top of the cliffs.

Show us 2 of your favourite photographs. Explain why they are your favourite. If you are not a photographer (serious or otherwise), think of a two favourite scenes in your life and tell us about them.
How can I choose? I’ll do a couple of nice nature photos. These are places where I could happily just sit and enjoy the scenery.

Scotland

Somewhere in the North of Scotland

Waterfall in Wales

A waterfall in Coed y Brenin forest park, Wales

List 2 of your best personality traits.
The questions are getting harder and harder!

How can I choose two of my best personality traits? There are so many because I’m so supremely awesome. That’ll do for one.

  1. Supremely awesome
  2. Exceptionally modest

There you go!

What, you wanted sensible? Hmm, I’m not good at self-analysis stuff. Good sense of humour, though it’sĀ a bit odd sometimes. I’m also a good listener. This is because I don’t know what to say in any social situation and I’m rubbish at giving advice, so all I can do is listen!

Phew, some toughies this week.

Ali, I just love the fact that you’re both “Supremely awesome” and “Exceptionally modest.” We don’t see those two personality traits together very often. That in itself is exceptional. šŸ˜€ You do indeed have a great sense of humor (American spelling). My computer is from India and spellchecks in British English. It’s always telling me I misspell words like humor. šŸ™‚ —Susan

I thought that was a fun combination of personality traits šŸ™‚
Every computer I buy spell-checks in American English for some reason but I soon put a stop to that – just a case of switching the default dictionary.
I’m happy you like my sense of humour!

Thanks Ali. I’ll have to check and see if I can find my default dictionary and switch it. That’s funny that your computers there in the UK spell check in American English. They’re probably imports. šŸ™‚ —Susan

Wow to that waterfall picture! I agree, that and the ocean watching, are two things I can never be bored of.

I agree on the supremely awesome šŸ˜€

I use to be a listener for the same reason. I thought people would take what I sat wrong. Now that I’m in my 50’s I don’t care. I agree the photos are great. And by your writing you are an awesome guy. šŸ™‚

It’s liberating to say what you like! Maybe one day I’ll be able to do that.
I keep meaning to see if any of these photos are of a high enough resolution to print out at A4 or something. They’d look good on my wall.
      Thanks šŸ™‚

Love how happy you are not being unhappy and isn’t it awesome to be exceptionally modest? šŸ™‚

I love being close to water, not necessarily the ocean, but streams and waterfalls, too!

Your a water baby. I’ve wanted to live on a house boat, maybe not forever but for a time.
No DrAli you won’t get seasick.
    Like your sharing. Thank You.
Awesomely modest … a new one.

A house boat sounds cool for a while. I’ve never been seasick so I expect I’d be okay! It would be nice to sail up and down the canals.

I apologize for thinking you would worry about getting seasick. I want a year it two on a houseboat so badly. It’s becoming a craving.
Yes you photos would look great framed.

I did actually used to get car sick as a kid. I was one of the ones who had to sit up at the front on a plastic bag when my school class went on a trip in the bus šŸ™‚

It is nice to have a little place to call home, isn’t it? When we moved into our place I told himself that the next time I move I’ll be in a wooden bod šŸ˜› (an old saying)
what wonderful photographs! I hope go to your favorite places and sit often! I can hear the waterfalls and then the flowing creek.
Here’s to your totally awesome and modest self! Cheers!

It’s good to say “I’m off home” rather than “back to the flat”.
Those places are hundreds of miles away but there are equally nice places nearby, fortunately, though it’s more ocean and less waterfalls here.

oh maybe we are chatting in real time šŸ™‚ Yes, we’d have to travel quite a ways for a waterfall , too. I live in the Pacific Northwest – near to San Francisco. So for me, having lived in New Orleans most of my life, the ocean and foothills are so lovely to me. enjoy this day that has been gifted you,

I’m glad you’re enjoying living near San Francisco – it’s always nice when you move and you get to enjoy new scenery. Isn’t it the middle of the night in California? šŸ™‚
I hope you enjoy your day too.
