Sharing My World 2015 Week 15
Here I am in my regular Share Your World Sunday slot. This challenge is hosted by Cee over on her blog full of lovely photographs.
Regarding your fridge, is it organised or a mess inside?
As far as I’m concerned it’s organised. Everything is in its correct place and there’s no gone off food or leftovers. It could do with a clean out though, I guess, as it’s been 7 years and two houses now (when I moved I defrosted the freezer section but didn’t clean out the fridge). I don’t spill stuff in it, though, so it’s okay.
Have you ever been a participant in a parade? What did you do?
No, as far as I can remember I’ve never been in a parade. I don’t think I’d want to be marching along with everyone looking at me.
How do you stand out from the crowd?
I don’t. My whole plan is to blend into the background. Like a ninja. A barely glimpsed flash of movement in the dark. Was I really ever there? Nobody knows.
How many bones, if any, have you broken?
I’ve never broken any bones. Except, perhaps, my little toe. I read somewhere that little toes get broken quite often, but people don’t realise and there’s nothing to be done anyway.
My fridge is sort of tidy, sort of messy (especially after a shop). I’ve never been in a parade, but I have been to a protest rally (2 years ago) I’m with you on the NOT standing out in a crowd. I’ve broken two bones in my foot and snapped a tendon in my little finger.

Argh, even the words “snapped a tendon” make me feel queasy 🙂

it didn’t hurt when it happened, but I heard it pop. It was like having a thick piece of spaghetti for a little finger. They put a half splint on it for eight weeks. LOL I’d have been quite at home at Her Majesty’s garden party with my pinky stuck out while drinking tea 😀

Yeeks 😦
Maybe these posh people all have snapped tendons too from playing too much polo and whatnot and that’s why their pinkies stick out while drinking tea 🙂

So, you could have been in a ninja parade and we never would have noticed, right? 😉

There’s ninja parades going on all the time. They’re all around us with no-one the wiser 🙂

I’ve broken my baby toe before. I think we probably all have. 😉

I think so too, given the terrible cracking sounds it makes when you accidentally ram it into something 😦

Good answers, Ali. I especially liked the ninja description. Reminds me of the Halloween my son put on a black ninja suit and went around the yard higing in bushes. 😀 Try to keep that unbroken bones record. (we’ll forget about the little toe). Try also not to sprain anything. That’s more painful than a break.

As a kid I had quite weak feet and sprained them all the time (they used to slip onto the side). It is very painful. I haven’t sprained anything for a couple of decades now though, touch wood!

I suppose being a ninja’s OK if you want anonymity – but I couldn’t manage the martial arts that go with it, or the high kicks and back flips etc. Like you, I’ve only ever broken my little toe, and I knew there was nothing to be done about it. Choosing the right shoes (other than slippers!) can be tricky for a while afterwards, though. 🙂

I’m great with the ninja moves but nobody notices when I do them, being a ninja and all, so you’ll have to take my word for it 😉

I enjoyed reading your answers this week. You know most people haven’t broken a bone except for toes.

I didn’t know that. I’m hoping never to break anything “important”. I wouldn’t be able to get to work, for a start.

Haha, bet you make a great Ninja!

I’d love to have read the rest of this post but I couldn’t get past the words ‘7 years’ 😉 I wish I didn’t spill anything in my fridge, I’m Mrs Clumsy with a capital C!

I wipe up the occasional juice spill, but most stuff in there is is cans, jars or bottles and everything else is in little baggies so there isn’t really much that can make it dirty (is my excuse) :-).

You do realize the implications of the statement….. As far as I am concerned, it is organized…. I used to say that about my bedroom when I was little. As far as I am concerned, it is clean. Mom never bought it!

Ha! Fortunately, now I’m all growed up (and living on my own) mine is the only opinion which counts 🙂
