Limerick Challenge – Dream
I thought I’d have another go at Mind and Life Matters’ Limerick challenge. This week’s word is “Dream“. I couldn’t get it to scan quite right, but here is my entry :-).
It’s good to have hopes and big dreams
Polish your life till it gleams
And if things go wrong
Try to burst into song
Think of kittens, ice cream and sunbeams!

I did just what you recommended…. only the ice cream melted in the sunbeam, and then the kittens licked it up and got sick and puked all over my nice new rug.

You can feel free to insert the happy thought of your choice! It would have to be “puppies” rather than “dogs” to make it scan though but that’s okay because everyone loves puppies 🙂
