Limerick Challenge – Time Travel
Here is a limerick I’ve written for Mind and Life Matters’ limerick challenge. This week’s prompt is “Time Travel“. To read this week’s other limericks, click on the blue froggy.
I had to cheat a bit by removing a couple of letters to make it scan properly π
Trav’lling in time can be great
Though dangerous, ‘specially of late
If you travel too long
It can all go quite wrong
Then much worse than death is your fate!

Great limerick, Ali. This should be shown as a warning to every new time traveller. π

Thanks! It’s required reading on Gallifrey, though one young Time Lord in particular didn’t pay much attention π

Well, if you accidentally screw up the universe, just go back to yesterday and try again!

I don’t know about a fate worse than death. Right now, I wouldn’t be going back about a year and seeing if we could get the world back on a better road! You are the limerick king π

Yeah – not sure how we’d accomplish that, though!

In time travel you just have to be careful you don’t run into Morlocks or wipe yourself out. Good limerick, Ali. π — Suzanne

It’s a dangerous business! Lots of plagues and such around as well in the olden days.

But I bet that’s the first thing people would try if they had a time machine – buy some shares in Microsoft or something… π
I’m glad you liked it, and thanks for choosing mine as this week’s “Limerick Superstar”!

You’re welcome! I really liked your limerick this week π
Yea doing something like that would set off a ripple action in effect which would even end up ruining their present. You see….there are technicalities to time travel too! π

I will. At the moment it’s all flashy dials and readouts but it doesn’t actually go anywhen!

I left today,
in a relative way,
and wrote this the preious week.
