Sharing My World 2016 Week 32

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?
Pizza. Piiiiiizzzzaaaa. Pizza. With pepperoni, Chorizo, loads of cheese. I assume I get to choose an endless supply of dessert too? I made myself the pizza described above yesterday, and I also made another Victoria sponge yesterday morning and had some for dessert so I’ll choose that. This time I used blackcurrant jam and remembered to frost the top!

Sponge2

What is the worst thing you ate recently?
I haven’t eaten anything bad recently. I’m trying to remember the last time I ate something bad. I usually eat something I’ve made and if we go out it’s to places we usually go and I have the same things (adventurous, aren’t I?).

You are comfortable doing nothing? For long stretches of time?
Probably not. I can’t remember the last time I was doing nothing so it’s hard to tell!

List of Jobs You Think You Might Enjoy: Even if you aren’t thinking about a career change, it can be fun to think of other jobs you might enjoy.

  • Fighter pilot. I feel the need… the need for speed! Now I want to watch Top Gun again.
  • Rally car driver. I feel the need… you get the idea.
  • Forestry Commission person. I like the idea of spending my day wandering around the woods checking on the trees and what not.
  • International jet setter type person. That may not be an official job, though.

On first glance at that picture, I thought that was was crocheted food. Upon a second look, the only thing on it that seems real is the jam. It’s probably still more edible than any of the garbage I eat…

Pizza- Pepperoni… definitely a favorite! Love your job listings! In my younger days, I wanted to fly jet as well. I was a rally car driver- according to the local constables? Personal Note: I hope to be back in a writer’s mode now. I have been working of a scholastic-type monthly magazine for my students this summer. The project turned out to be far greater than anticipated! (Close to 900 entries!) It is close to be complete? I hope! I have missed reading your things. I apologize. I am not going to try to go back and catch up. I am sure I missed some great things!

Oops, hope you didn’t get too many speeding tickets 🙂
Good to see you back. That sounds like quite the project!

Yummy picture again. I stared at it for a minute! I do things all the time myself. But I’ve made a rule to do less at least one day a week so that I won’t burn out or won’t get hive from exhaustion.

      Yummy cake!
I imagine I’ll have to start taking it easier soon. Sometimes I wonder why some things wear me out (like working late for some project) when I used to be fine with it. Then I remember I’m not in my 20’s any more. Or 30’s either, come to that 🙂

Yeah! It could be my “thing”, like James Bond’s “shaken, not stirred” Martini.

      “Cupcake, my dear?”
“Oh, my goodness, you’re Trent Bullet, international spy cook!”

Of all your Sharing My World’s – so far, at least – this is my favorite one. I don’t remember what it feels like to do nothing, either. That’s possibly sad, I dunno. And I can’t believe you made this cake and did not invite me over for a slice!

I’m glad you enjoyed my answers! I should have invited you round for cake – even after I gave some to my parents I must have put on a few pounds by the time I’d eaten all the rest by myself 🙂

Your cake is truly awesome, Ali. What could be nicer than jam and cream? But, if you became an international jet setter, would you still blog and bake nice things to eat, I wonder? 🙂

I’ll be honest. Daily I work on promoting my blog and connecting to like minded bloggers. But I decided to search by dessert today (my blog is about magical experiences that I have had)….because I love dessert and food, in general. I saw your photo of that delicious looking cake and you had the word pizza at the top of your post….I had to stop and read. YUM! Jam, and Cream, and Sponge…oh my! Thanks for making this moment sweet.
