What are you really glad you did yesterday?
It’s rare that I’m “really” glad about dong something. Mostly life just goes on in a routine. I suppose I’m “really” glad I did the weekly shopping so I have something to eat.
Would you prefer a one floor house or multiple levels?
I like going upstairs to bed. However I worry that as I get older the stairs will no longer be my friend. Maybe I should get a stair lift thingy installed just in case. With a little turbo charger because I feel the need, the need for speed.
Have you done something you truly want to do today?
I only just got out of bed, so not really. But anyway, as with the first question I just do my usual things from day to day.
What plans did you have as a teenager that didn’t happen? Are you happy it didn’t work out that way?
I didn’t have “plans” as a teenager. That implies some thought, working out how to make something happen. I wanted stuff, wanted various silly jobs depending on age. “Teenager” covers everything from not long out of primary school to part-way though university, pretty much. So we’re talking plans to be a champion football player or pop star at the lower end all the way up to some sort of idealised life plans at the upper end.
It’s probably best they didn’t work out. Plans made at age 13 are rarely realistic or remotely achievable.

I agree with you on getting a turbo charger for a stair lift. When I see the commercial ads on tv for those contraptions I don’t know how those people have the patience to sit on those lifts because it takes them forever to get to the top of the stairs! Most of us at that age would be skeletons by the time we reached the top. LOL!

I’ve seen the same ads. I always hope those poor people aren’t in a hurry to get anywhere. Like the bathroom.

LOL My grandmother had one of those lift chairs. Half way up she would get annoyed at the slow speed and walk the rest of the way 🙂 I like the teleporter although I always wonder what would happen if the molecules got scrambled and one looks different after materialisation.
(Yes, I wonder about weird stuff!)

Well, there was a transporter accident in “Star Trek – The Motion Picture” and it turned the poor unfortunate into a horrible smoking mess. So it’s right to be concerned!

I think I didn’t know the meaning of “plan” until I was in my 30s. I had dreams. I yearned. But plan? Not beyond the next day!

I still keep trying to plan what I’m going to do with my life! Just in the past few days, for example, I’ve spent time researching how to set up a shop online, then decided that sounded too hard, did an online job search instead, and then looked at university courses. And I’m in my forties. 😦
I like going upstairs to go to bed, too, but I’m concerned that when I’m elderly the staircase will be my downfall. (pun intended). Basically, it’s highly likely that, being as clumsy as I am, I will fall down it sooner or later. Probably later.

I’m not particularly clumsy but I can be quite careless. Going down is definitely more dangerous than going up…

You would get a stair lifty thingy with a little turbo charger just so that you could still go upstairs quickly? Wouldn’t it be more practical to move to a place with only one level so you wouldn’t have to go upstairs at all?

I agree with the teenaged planning thing. I wanted to be a nun just about then and – well – like you said, it’s probably best that plan didn’t see the light of day.
I like some sort of routine to at least parts of my day – the parts that get me out of bed and bathed and fed and writing 1000 words that, luckily, never find a way into my blog 🙂 Other than that, which can sometimes take a day, I don’t care much what happens.
