Sharing My World 2016 Week 47

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World. This one is a “grateful for” special in honour of the USA’s Thanksgiving Day. Cee’s recommends a few words representing the first thing which comes to mind.

share-your-world2

Your home life?
Anteater.

No, this “first thing which comes to mind” isn’t going to work. I’ll try again.

Relaxed, mainly stress-free. I love that after all these years I finally own a little house.

Your family?
My immediate family live nearby and we’ll all be seeing each other at Christmas!

Your blogging community?
They’re such a lovely bunch, reading all my stuff and producing quality works for me to read 🙂

Your city or immediate area in which you live?
It’s a nice quiet little village and I’m far enough from the main road that I don’t get any traffic noise. I’m grateful for the peace and quiet.

The regional area in which you live?
I’ve published many many pictures of the lovely area I live in. Let me find another one. Or two.

St Michael's Mount 6

StNectan3

The country where you live?
It’s free, democratic and there’s enough to go round. Not that everyone gets enough sadly.

You?
Me! I’m reasonably healthy and content 🙂

You don’t have much if anything to complain about, Ali. Those are beautiful locations. I’ve seen pictures of your house and it’s perfect for you. 🙂 — Suzanne

Everyone is thankful for anteaters, except the ants of course…

Yeah, I can’t think why. I’ll have to look up “anteater” and see what anteaters eat.

LOL – I read as far as your answer “anteater” and then had to go back to the start to see if there was something in the description of the task ahead, that I had missed.

Those landscape shots made me realise that a shady, leafy path can actually look more tempting than a beach scene. I’m sure the beach is lovely, but that leafy path through the woods is what I’d choose!

I like to be random on occasion 🙂
In Cornwall we have both woods and many beaches. I tend to choose the woods, or cliff walks, Not the beach!

Anteater was the first thing that came to your mind? I wonder what a psychiatrist would say. 😉
You live in a beautiful place!

Lovely Cornwall again. I’d say where you live is perfect for someone who enjoys a quiet, peaceful life – until the tourists charge in. Unfortunately, we all want a look at your beautiful county. 🙂

I always take my holidays outside of school holiday time so it’s not too bad at the usual tourist spots 🙂

Where you live is beautiful. Your home does not define your thoughts though, and what is going on in your life…what makes you happy. It is certainly a blessing for sure and to be thankful for. (I had acute bronchitis for what seemed like forever and am sorry I am back-tracking to respond today.)
