“Hey, look, I love UV black light, let’s go in.”
“Yeah, it’s such a great colour!”
“And it shows up all sorts of stains and blood and Oh. My. God. What the Hell happened here? Waitress?”
“Good evening! Coffee? Pie?”
“What happened, Miss?”
“Ooh, a big grisly murder. A whole bus-load of tourists. And they never found the bodies!”
“Never found the bodies?”
“No. Not a single one!”
“Wow. Weird. I wonder what happened to them? Anyway, I guess we’ll have a couple of coffees. And a slice of pie with two forks, please. ‘Mystery meat pie’. Sounds tasty!”

Holidays are going okay – most presents are wrapped, though with people drifting off work for Christmas my workload is getting ever higher…

Gee, I wonder what happened to those bodies…. But you didn’t say what kind of pie. I ask because real mincemeat pie is hard to come by these days.. it’s tempting. 😉 (Cue “it tastes like horse” joke.)

Mystery meat? Oh my!
I’m finishing the first rewrite of the first draft. I’ll pass it on to a friend to read. While he’s reading, I plan to tackle our zombie story. Do you have anything more that I have not yet seen?

I’m still half way through that chapter. I think I’ll just write in one plan for now rather than having a failed plan, otherwise I’ll be stuck forever! Then we can sort it out later.

As soon as I saw the blue lighting I was dead set on some sort of “UV light exposing something icky” story 🙂
I decided to give the mince pies a miss this year. Just in case…

Well, this is enough to put any right-minded person off meat pies for ever. Even Mr, Todd himself didn’t manage this many pies, especially in one go! Very creative – in a grisly kind of way – and a really fun read. 🙂
