Sharing My World 2017 Week 25

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

share-your-world2

What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you that is not part of your regular daytime routine?
I do a lot of sleeping when I’m not working 🙂 I also read, watch the Netflix and play games on my PlayStation. Sometimes I go to the cinema too.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
Obviously I “wouldn’t let it change me”. I’d remain easy-going and a friend to all people and small furry animals, and would still lead a quiet, unassuming life.

Then I would have my driver take me down the high street in my gold-plated open-top Rolls Royce so I can throw bags of money behind me and watch all the poor persons scrabble around in the dirt for it bwahahaha.

What makes you laugh the most?
Watching poor persons scrabble around in the dirt for the money I’ve just chucked out the back of my gold-plated open-top Rolls Royce bwahahaha.

And funny TV programmes.

What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology?
Battery life annoys me. The list of stuff I have to recharge is practically endless. Toothbrush, shaver, phone, laptop, Kindle, PlayStation controllers, watch… yikes!

    1) Please drive by MY house and drop some of that gold near me. Thank you in advance.
    2) Since we have to recharge absolutely everything, why can’t we at least have batteries that don’t EACH need a different charger. Traveling means I have at least a dozen chargers.

If I win, I’ll be sure to spread the wealth in the New England direction 🙂
I’m always afraid to mix chargers in case they burst into flames.

DVRs always work great until you have a backlog, then they stuff up on the really important episode.

I have a jumble of wires behind my laptop and beside my printer/scanner. I also have a special recharging outlet where I leave the plug connected all the time. My biggest aggravation at present is my printer not working “again”. I’ll probably either have to buy a new one or have it repaired “again”. It’s probably evil and laughing at me.

I was just over at my parents’ fiddling with my Dad’s printer… again 🙂

My printer has been replaced and been broken so many times, I am unable to recall whether it works or not. A bag of money would come in handy at this moment and spare me from having to try this printer again.

Sometimes I think we should buy a stack of cheap printers and just work our way through them as they break 😦

It appears that one of your bags of money just crushed a poor, unfortunate possum who was trying to catch it. Now you really have something to laugh about!

My aim is a bit off. It took me three huge bags to hit him square on.

I will scramble in the dirt for some money, but wouldn’t it be nicer if you just sent a card with some money tucked inside of it? 🙂

It would be nicer. But not as funny bwahahaha.
But I will send you some in an envelope as you’re cool 🙂

You seem to get a kick out of throwing money to the poor. Hahaha! I hope you win the lottery and throw some of it this way!

Sending a self-addressed stamped envelope! Hilarious as always! 🙂
I have nothing to recharge. Should I be worried?

I don’t have a mobile. I refuse to have one until it is absolutely necessary. In the meantime, I have applied to the Luddite Mobile Phone Evasion Society. 😀

I couldn’t connect to work systems without mine, I need the authentication apps (and the auth app to make sure no-one can hack into my Gmail and WordPress accounts!).

I don’t think anything pisses me off charge-wise as much as the PS4 controllers.

Where do you live again? I fancy picking up one of those bags of money you so kindly distribute to the poor 🙂 Of course, once you’ve won the lottery, you won’t need to bother with re-charging anything, just buy another one when the battery goes flat.

And I can hire a minion to make sure everything is properly transferred across 🙂
The money distribution event will be taking place in (currently) sunny Cornwall.

Naturally, winning the lottery wouldn’t change you a bit! And think of all those new friends you’d make while you’re tossing out bags of dosh. Would the driver of your posh car be driving anywhere out of Cornwall, by any chance? I just wondered whether you’d mind publishing the route. 🙂

If you look out of your bedroom window, down to the left, just behind that yellow rose, that’s where I’m now wild camping, ready with outstretched hands. I notice you failed to even buy a lottery ticket this week!
