Sharing My World 2017 Week 50

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

What household chore do you absolutely hate doing?
That’s an easy question. All of them. The trouble is, the longer I leave them the longer they take. That doesn’t stop me leaving them as long as possible, though. I always have great plans to keep on top of it all but it never really pans out.

At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
I don’t ever really feel “passionate and alive”. I’m usually more “even keel”.

How many times have you moved in the last ten years?
Twice, once into a little rented flat as a temporary measure which lasted five and a half years, and then nearly four years ago into my first ever owned house 🙂

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?
Okay then, let’s give InspiroBot another whirl.

“Try to be the reason a man gets torn apart by owls.”

Wow, that’s pretty random. Sounds pretty profound, though.

I tried to come up with different answers than yours, but jeez – I do hate housework, my days don’t change much so I’m also on that even keel, I moved from a rented condo to one I bought, and seeing how much other people do at my age has inspired me to at least try a little bit harder. um… are we related?

Unfortunately for me, I have the same attitude toward housework that you do. I know of any housewives with this great system of scheduled cleaning, whose houses are spotless, but I only admire them from afar and keep on blogging. 🙂

InspiroBot was way out to lunch and would leave you out on a limb big-time, since the only reason owls would tear you apart is if you’re messing with their nests.

Hope you’re having a peaceful Sunday today in your first-ever-owned house. 🙂

My mum hoovers every day and she’s in her eighties. Makes me look bad 🙂
Fairly peaceful, thanks. Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday too!

I’ve been putting off my housework for about 8 years now. Boy, I’ll bet it’d really be a pain to do it right now… so I’ll just keep procrastinating instead.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a new microwave because the old one was full of baked-in exploded baked beans and chileh…

I look at housework as a necessary evil. I do it when I have to. LOL!

My least favorite chore is cleaning the bathroom, which is why I make my daughter do it. 🙂

😀 Same here! I keep hoping some gnomes will show up and clean! InspiroBot has been nipping at the cooking sherry again.

The cooking sherry, ordinary sherry, wine, whatever’s in the cupboard really 🙂
Speaking of gnomes, what’s Henri up to these days?

In my experience, those who seem the most passionate and ‘alive’ to others are those who are emotionally/mentally stable (not joking). Being ‘even keel’ is underrated.
I definitely don’t want to be responsible – directly or indirectly – for a man to be torn apart by owls!

I never claimed to be particularly stable 🙂
Being torn apart by owls sounds quite a long and painful process 😦

Hmm … what’s the difference between being even keel and being stable?
Yep, being torn apart by owls is cruel and unusual punishment.

I like even keel, too. My feeling passionate and alive always manages to leave my bank account drained!

You made owls seem really predatory there, Ali. I always kind of liked them. Maybe I was wrong. 😀 — Suzanne
