Sharing My World 2017 Week 53

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

share-your-world2

What caring thing are you going to do for yourself today?
Have a nice nap at lunchtime. Which I’ve already had.

List at least five of your favourite spices? (excluding salt and pepper)
Oh no, I can’t have Salt N Peppa?

Okay then, in that case I’ll go for Sporty, Scary, Baby, Ginger and Posh.

What can you always be found with?
My phone. Map, calendar, email, camera, texts, authentication apps all in one. Oh yeah, it’s a phone too.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Oh, I don’t know. Let’s go for Christmas, shall we? Christmas inspired me. I was inspired by Christmas. I find running out of money and putting on ten stone highly inspiring.

Happy New Year 🙂

You’ve put on ten stone?? One, maybe, but ten in such a short period of time is virtually impossible. 😉 Oh, and for those who aren’t familiar with stone as a unit of measurement (that would be most people, I think), 1 stone = 14 lbs, or 6.35 kg.
    Happy New Year, Ali!

Thanks, I forgot that Americans use Imperial measurements but weirdly not “stones” 🙂 Most British people use kg for everything except a person’s weight.
      Happy New Year 🙂

Don’t forget the Canadians (those who share a border with the U.S.). 😉 We’re all over the place with measurements…using feet and inches for height, pounds for weight, but kilometres for distance. When I first arrived in the UK, I was perplexed by the “stone” measurement.
Happy New Year to you too, Ali. 🙂

Ah, I had a feeling you’re in Canada but thought you guys were all metric. We’re much the other way – metric for everything (officially) except distance and speed limits, which of course would cause confusion and cost millions. Those road signs are more expensive than you’d think!

I would not have taken you for a Salt N Pepa fan… but I remember you liked the Spice Squirrels. Nothing wrong with that at all….

I remember the name but not the songs. The Spice Squirrels, on the other hand, rock.

I would prefer Salt and Pepa myself, especially if Dj Spinderella joined the party.
