Sharing My World 2018 Week 20

Here’s my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

Complete this sentence: This sandwich could really use some…
… hot sauce.

What is your least favourite candy?
Liquorice. ‘Tis indeed the devil’s food.

What sign are you? Do you believe in astrology?
Libra. And no. I once had a read of the traits of a Libran, and I was amazed! A lot of it was me! Then I read the traits of the other signs. And I was amazed! A lot of it was me too!

This stuff, and horoscopes, are like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Once you’ve read it you find a way to make it true, or see it in yourself.

Libras apparently don’t believe in astrology, so you fit the sign perfectly!

I almost put licorice for my candy. I don’t care for it either, although oddly enough, on a cold winter day, I enjoy sipping on a tumbler of Sambuca, which tastes like licorice.
    Go figure.

I can’t stand anything that tastes like liquorice. Or aniseed.

I knew you were going to say ‘hot sauce’! 🙂 Not a fan of licorice either. Typical Pisces comments 😉

I don’t believe in astrology either. I’m living in India and many people here do. They arrange marriages here by auspicious days, etc. My husband told me his mother once had a chart done for him and the astrologer told her he wouldn’t live past twelve. She told the man her son had already lived long past that age. Whoops. 😀 — Suzanne

Ha, that was a pretty specific prediction. Usually they’re a bit more general and open to interpretation 🙂

Accidentally ate a licorice flavored jelly bean at Easter. I’m still gagging.

I’m so sorry 😦 There should be a law about them hiding in plain sight amidst all the tasty jelly beans.
