Sharing My World 2018 Week 28

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?
Hmm. Here are some options.

  • It Came, it Went, and Now I’m Dead (not actually dead obviously as I wrote the biography)
  • Nothing Much Happened
  • If I Could Do it All Again, I Probably Wouldn’t Bother

Which do you prefer – sweet, salty or buttery?
Well, they all have their pluses. Sometimes I really fancy something sweet, like my body’s telling me my sugar levels are low. And you can’t beat a good buttery croissant. But overall, salty I think. I tend towards the savoury.

What’s the finest education?
It depends on what sort of education you mean. Something well-rounded, which generally comes from living your life. A mixture of formal education, jobs and relationships. Until you’ve done those things, you’ll likely be rubbish at them 🙂

Continuing education then. Books and croissants.

My title would be ‘mostly wasted’, I prefer a bit salt on the butter and the best education is the one where you actually listen.

I always buy salted butter. In days past in this country that was most common so it’s what I’m used to.

Ha, ha, I love the title options for your autobiography. It sounds like you need an adventure to liven it up. Gandolf may come to visit and bring some dwarves with him. 😀 — Suzanne

I think I might be tempted to read “Nothing Much Happened.” I prefer short reads…

“It came, it went, now I’m dead.” You sound pretty much like mine at this point; I’ve been trying to log in my site for hours to no avail! WordPress support wouldn’t give me answer either. No phone to call them either. Any idea how I can solve this problem, my friend? Oh, don’t want to bother busy person. I guess I’ll keep trying to get help from WP some other time. I’m frustrated now. I can visit my site but can’t log in to write to post, etc. 😦

Funnily enough I just popped a couple of suggestions on your post about this, though they’re probably things WP has already suggested. The important thing is to ascertain whether the problem is at your end or WP’s end. I can imagine a corrupted “remember me” cookie on your machine might cause issues so if you can try clearing them or try another computer or phone that will tell you whether it’s you or them.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. After hours of ordeal, WP’s agent finally fixed the problem and also gave me a link where I can change my password. 🙂

Great autobiography titles, especially the last one – I think that one has the hook.
Question 2 has me thinking about sweet and salty, buttery popcorn, which I just know is going to taste disgusting – obviously not your fault.
And a diplomatic and sensible answer to question 3. I wonder sometimes how you manage to answer the questions. Honestly, what does finest mean in the context of education? It’s good to see yours was an all-round good one. 🙂

IT is pretty catchy, isn’t it?
Yes, that last question required some care. True, though – so many people come out of university with a degree and immediately screw up their first job due to lack of timekeeping and a complete inability to interact with co-workers.

That’s true. Conformity to the current education system needs to be reversed back or uplifted to a different standard.

I bit more vocational hands-on training would be good for future job prospects, I reckon.
