FF – Uninvited Guest

Here is my story for Friday Fictioneers, hosted by Rochelle. This week’s photo was contributed by Yvette Prior.

“Unbelievable, son.”

“Um…”

“You’re at university, here to study and what do I find? Booze, pot, half-dressed semi-comatose people lying around everywhere.”

“Um, if you’d called first to say you were…”

“That’s not the point, is it?”

“Um…”

“IS IT?!”

“No, Dad.”

“Have you any idea what I go through every day? Hours of work to pay your tuition, your mother constantly nagging… I’m knackered. You’re living in party town and you didn’t invite me?”

“Um.. eh, what?”

“I’ll be staying for a bit, son. Call your mother and tell her I have ‘car troubles’. And get me a beer.”

He does. He’ll be cramping his son’s style for a bit, though! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂

I’m sure he’ll learn, to the embarrassment of his poor son. Though his mates will probably think he’s got the coolest dad ever!

Oops. I didn’t expect that. Yes, Dad is clearly envious. I hope he doesn’t look for a young girlfriend.

Gonna be a thorn in his side before long, I suspect. Fun take, sir!

    Dear Ali,

I wonder if the son would’ve preferred a chewing out from his Dad rather than Dad joining the gang. Oh dear. Awkward. But funny. 😉

Ungrateful dad. (only interested in the beer). If I was him I would be glad to have the son out of house – you know – enjoy yourself lad, live life, get a career a job and all that. You’re on your own now – good luck. Bye for now.

    haha
reminds me of Lindsey Lohan’s mother (or what we heard about them partying together0
