Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.
In your opinion what animal is the most majestic?
Ah, that would be the majestic meerkat. Gaze in wonder as he scurries majestically around the desert, or wherever it is meerkats live. Feel that catch in your throat as he stands majestically on his hind legs, gazing with majestic solemness across the desert landscape, or the landscape of wherever meerkats live.
Truly the king of beasts.
What seemingly innocent question makes you think “It’s a trap!”?
“Does my bum look big in this? If you love me, you’ll be honest…”
What weird potato chip flavour that doesn’t exist would you like to try?
Surely every possible flavour of crisp has been already produced by now? There’s some weird stuff out there. I found a site listing some weird flavours, including squid, cucumber and cinnamon and sugar (erk!). However, it’s an American site as it also listed, as being really “out-there” from across the pond (ie. here), prawn cocktail crisps. I grew up on prawn cocktail crisps!

Your meerkat does look rather regal!
I looked up the ‘prawn cocktail crisps’ … sweet and slightly salty does osund good BUT THEN I looked up a ‘prawn’ … No Waay am I eating that thing! Sure, I know that they ‘say’ they are made from potatoes… Manufactures short-cut everything!

I don’t like prawns either. And I’d never have a prawn cocktail starter, popular as they are. But never fear, prawn cocktail crisps have never been anywhere near an actual prawn, I suspect.

I’ll stick with plain crisps (potato chips in the U.S.) thank you. I’ve tried others and they have kind of an artificial taste. I always wonder what chemical they use. 🙂 — Suzanne

Most of them (the non-premium brands anyway) always mention “flavouring” rather than the actual ingredient. So any number of exciting chemicals, I imagine!

Meerkats have a certain appeal, but they aren’t as cute as pandas, IMO. 😉
As for chip/crisp flavours, you’re right: everything’s been done, or it would have been if they manufacturers thought it would fly. My husband likes Maple & Garlic. I think, yuck — but here it is! In my mind that’s like Cherry & Pizza or Banana & Bacon. Maybe the next will be Shoe Leather flavour.

Thanks Alistair for Sharing Your World! Meerkats are the king of cute certainly, but majestic? Well it’s all viewpoint really, isn’t it? 😆 There was another blogger who offered an actual list of flavors that have been made and some of the items? Made me right sick (ill to my stomach, not cool) to think about. Wasabi + anything but sushi for instance. No. Just say no. Offered on a potato chip (crisp) I don’t begin to think so, but there it was..

I wouldn’t go near some of the crisp flavours out there. I’ve never got on with putting salt in chocolate and caramel either. The world’s going to hell in a hand basket, I’m telling ya 🙂
