Sharing My World 15-06-2020

Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.

What do you think of professional motivational speakers? Do you think they motivate?
For sure! They motivate people to spend their hard-earned cash to turn up, buy their book and come back again. They have that knack of getting people really excited about changing their lives during and shortly after the talk, but then the feeling fades and you have to go back for another fix.

Do you have a favourite flavor?
Yes.

While out walking, you hear a rustling in some bushes. What do you think of?
Someone’s getting frisky! Or it’s a werewolf. Or a vampire. Or a small rodent.

What’s your ideal temperature (nature-wise)? Hot, cold, temperate and mild, humid or bone dry?
Low 20’s and sunny during the day. Mid-teens overnight. Low humidity. I can’t express it in terms of hot/cold etc I’m afraid – scorching hot in Cornwall is mid to high twenties, which I know many people would scoff at and not consider hot at all!

I had to google the conversion for low 20’s. that’s a little cool. I’ll take mid 20’s. πŸ™‚

I was thinking the same about some motivational speakers. If they really had all the answers and wanted to do the world some good, they would offer their suggestions for free. πŸ™‚
The rustling was a werewolf eating chocolate.
For me the optimum temperatures are 9C/48F at night and no more than 18C/65 during the day. And definitely low humidity!

I wonder if he’ll share his chocolate with me…
18C’s a little cool for me, I get cold easily. I like it cooler at night, though. We’ve currently got around 11C at night and 15C during the day.

OK, I was severely let down when you didn’t reveal what your favorite flavor was. Distraught, I nearly clicked out of the window and went back to playing Solitaire…. until I got a pop up ad for a motivational speaker. After spending $200 to watch his highly energetic podcast, I finally had the motivation I needed to finish reading this post! Then I got to the part where you used Celsius and had to go get another fix…

Celsius is the future! We all have to change with the times. When I was little it was called “Centigrade”. Now I have to call it Celsius to stay current. I wish they’d stop fiddling with things.

Fabulous Share Your World, Alistair! A werewolf, getting frisky in the bushes? You and I think alike sir. That scares me a little, does it you? Heh. Great answers and yes, you’re a bit of a wuss for thinking the low 20s is ‘hot’. I take it that’s Centigrade? Try 100+ (Farenheit) which is how it gets where I live. *phew* That’s TOO HOT!! πŸ˜†

I just got Alexa to convert that since I’m too lazy to type it into Google – 38C. I can safely say that it never gets that hot here. I doubt it even manages 30C. I don’t think I’d be able to breathe 😦

It didn’t actually ask me what my favourite flavour is πŸ™‚

Cornwall sounds like Chicago. It can be chilly in the early summer. The wind from Canada there cools it down. It also blows across water. πŸ™‚ — Suzanne

We’re sticking out into the sea, so we get different weather to most of England πŸ™‚
