Sharing My World 26-04-2021
Here is my post for Melanie’s Share You World.
Which would you rather throw away: Love or Money?
Well, love costs money, which I wouldn’t have since I’ve apparently thrown my money away to gain love.
Do you believe you should do one thing a day that scares you?
No! What would I try to scare myself on a daily basis? The calm, quiet life for me, thank you so very much indeedy.
Whatβs the last thing you do at night?
I always read my book before going to sleep, no matter what time it is.
If you could own a mythical creature (unicorn, phoenix, etc.), which one would you pick?
I’d quite like a dryad. She could look after the garden and make it all lovely. I wouldn’t “own” her though as she’s a sentient being. We’d probably end up getting married, I expect π

Excellent! Why indeed would you want to scare yourself every day. As for love and money, if you have no money and you find love – might just be the real thing. Yep, nothing like a book before bed. Oh I am with you about the Dryad. My green thumb turns all things black – I really need a Dryad. π

Yep, magical, a bit funny and not too difficult to follow after a long day at work.

Have you read Ephraim Kishon? I looooove his humor. Or Murakami, whose magical realism is second to none?

No, I will check them out, thanks!

Thank you Alistair for Sharing Your World! That whole “scare a day’ question was a bit naff, eh? Some interpreted it as a ‘challenge’ sort of thing, not a physical Ooo I’m scared idea. But it’s all good and your answer was great! Having a dryad for a wife would be nice I think. Your garden would be the envy of people for miles around! Have a wonderful week!

How chivalrous! I wouldn’t own the dryad, but I’d marry her so she would own me…

Dryads are totally cool! Their bark is worse than their bite you know. Or is that naiads?

Dryads – trees – bark hee π Naiads are the water spirits. I’d like one of them too, I could have a water feature they could look after and enjoy π
