FF – Archvillain Jr
Here is my story for Friday Fictioneers, hosted by Rochelle. This week’s photo was contributed by Roger Bultot.
I take a picture of myself… taking a picture of myself! A loop is created… the universe will collapse! I can feel atoms beginning to unravel… I look outside… all is darkness… IT WORKED bwahahaha!
“Mum! Mum! It’s all dark outside! I’ve destroyed the universe!”
“The sun’s gone down, dear. It’s late. Go to bed. School tomorrow.”
“Darn. Therefore, mother, I shall try two mirrors facing each other. The infinite loop will surely destroy the universe bwahahaha!”
“That’s nice, dear. Now go to bed.”
A reprieve for life as we know it. Until tomorrow, universe. Bwahahaha!

Pretty drastic measures to take just because he didn’t do his homework… Couldn’t he catch a fake cold, like other kids? lol, this seems like something Calvin would have done.

This definitely sounds like Calvin!

Ha, yes, it’s a very Calvin thing to do. And his Mum would react in much the same way!

Dear Ali,
That might be a better excuse than “the dog ate my homework.” Still I suspect the sun will come up tomorrow and he will have to go to school. 😉 Cute story.

Dear Rochelle,
I suspect you’re right. And ironically the homework was “write a fantasy essay”… 🙂

Reminds me of Calvin in “Calvin and. Hobbes.” Only this kid is a little loonier than Calvin 🙂

He’d be even worse if he had his own Hobbes egging him on 🙂

It’s hard to beat an inept supervillain. Well, they’re easy to beat just not for humor.

Elsewhere in the multiverse, three parallel universes ceased to exist, and another just had all its laws of physics changed.

Throughout history, people have been ignored when they should have been listened to. Not sure he’ll turn out to be one of them though! Nice one Ali.
