FF – Debris
Here is my story for Friday Fictioneers, hosted by Rochelle. This week’s photo was contributed by Ted Strutz.
Warning – this week’s story may be a tad “spicy”, but it’s the first thing that leapt into my mind 😮 and now I can’t think of anything else.
“What do we have, Constable?”
“An explosion, Sarge. No casualties, thank god, but there’s wreckage blown everywhere.”
“Right then, let’s have a look. What’s this thing?”
“No idea, Sarge. Maybe… this bit would go here, and… urgh, no!”
“Hmm, I reckon maybe you put this part around here, and then this bit would go… no, no, no!”
“I think maybe… maybe we’re better off not knowing, Sarge.”
“I think you’re right, Constable. Bag it all up!”
“Right you are, Sarge. I really don’t understand why anyone would want to blow up ‘Helga’s House of Pain’ anyway…”
That made me smile

As long as the question of exactly what Helga did with that bit of machinery is never answered 🙂

Yeah thats a good mystery to keep.

Helga must not have given enough pain to one of her customers…

It’s such a disappointment when these places don’t deliver 🙂

Yes, dang it.

They’re right, they’re probably better off not knowing. What a fun story, no casualties, and a lot of disappointed customers once they read the news.

Hopefully Helga has an emergency backup dungeon she can use while her primary location is being rebuilt 🙂

Being the well-organized sadist-dominatrix that she is, I’m sure she does.

Well, we know where the Sarge and the Constable have been on their days off 😮

They did seem on a bit of a downer that the place has been flattened 🙂

Yeah sure. They just want to make it appear they aren’t really familiar with that type of “machinery”…

They covered quite well but there’s no fooling you…

Well Helga likes pain, I suppose, and blowing up would be painful. Love the story.

It would be very painful 😮

Wonder how long the “evidence” will remain in the police storage?
Could be a lucrative business in repairing such devices? Might take less than an explosion to make some of those “toys” go wonky.
Thanks for the smile. Now, I can’t get that image out of my mind, lol.

Yes, it was probably already damaged even before the blast! I expect it will be signed out of evidence for “further inspection” a few times 🙂

Possibly by the Constable . . .

Dear Ali,
Perhaps someone experienced more pain than they cared to endure. 😉

Love the story , especially the conversation between the two cops. The last line is a hoot.

It seems someone wanted to repay the favor tenfold. Or was it a jealous wife?

Or a jealous husband. Helga is an equal-opportunities dominatrix.

Right now I expect she’s thinking “did I pay the building insurance last month”…
