Chain Writing Game Episode 28

After a couple of hard days at work I finally have the chance to add my last instalment to Kerrie Salsac’s amazing and fun chain writing novelette!

To catch up with the story, take a look here!

I’m thinking Cindy needs a bit of a help here.

Back at the not-so-safe house, Cindy flicked “accept” on Mac’s phone, while thumbing down the volume and slipping it into her pocket. She needed to be heard without alerting Aadila, who still waved the gun threateningly at her. She could only hope that whoever was calling Mac was on her side.

“Like I said, Aadila, kill me and this ‘Signor Giuliani’ won’t be pleased.”

Moving to cradle Mac’s head, she felt the butt of the gun taped to his back, just below the nape of his neck.

Mac looked into Cindy’s eyes and nodded slightly. Her hand closed on the pistol’s grip.

Time for Cindy to gain the upper hand I think!
As for the house, I’m going to my solicitor’s tomorrow to sign the mortgage deed, contract and so on. So it won’t be long now 🙂

Methinks the cast of characters is about to get a little smaller again. I like where you took this. Great continuation!

According to the link page we’re running out of time, so Cindy needs to sort this out! I’m wondering if the people calling Mac are her birth parents, looking after her from afar…

She certainly does but I reckon she’s up to it.

Ha! Love it! Cindy is rebounding well from her initial shock and she’s ready to play the game all out. I just hope she’s as good a marksman as she is with the screwdriver. This is an unexpected twist that I’m liking. I’m glad you added this ace up Cindy’s sleeve.

Well, I think it’s closed for submissions now so I guess it’s up to Kerrie to finish things off! Hopefully with the gun 🙂

I think it’s closed at 6PM today. So if no one else writes in…Kerrie’s got a gun…

It’s way past 6pm in the UK – the page says “collection closed” and the add link thing has gone. I don’t know if it’s different in different time zones.
I’m sure Kerrie can finish it off to a thrilling conclusion anyway 🙂

Ach, right. Well then, I’m looking forward to Kerrie’s conclusion. This should be fun!
