Woodland Games
I bet you thought I’d forgotten, didn’t you, ES? Nope! Here is my entry to Evil Squirrel’s “Second Annual Contest of Whatever“. After losing last year, I have high hopes this year!
We need to include at least two different types of animal, and there must be some form of game involved – and what better than the Annual Worldwide Woodland Games?
I have been sure to label my creations, as the DraliDoodles team is not very good and it’s impossible to tell one type of creature from another!
Without further ado, let’s meet the teams.
I have a bad feeling about Team Possum :-(. Let the games begin! Let’s start with the 100m dash, featuring Team Squirrel, Team Tortoise, Team Possum and Team Vader.
Team Tortoise, the little cheaters! Scratch one possum. Team Squirrel wins! But wait a minute, what happened to Team Vader?
Oh dear. So that’s track, let’s see how the field events are progressing, where we find Team Possum very much in the firing line.
It’s a sad day for Team Possum. And behind the scenes, there’s more bad news for Team Vader as their favourite event gets cancelled.
That’s got to hurt Team Vader’s medal chances. And so, at the end of the Games, let’s see how everyone did!
And for our finale, we will be treated to a fly-past by the Team Vader Aerobatic Display Team.
Oh no! What a sore loser that Vader is.
I hope you enjoyed our little look at the Annual Worldwide Woodland Games :-).
LOL that was funny….bloody, but funny. Good luck!

That was fantastic. I love the cartoon drawings–you should make it into a book – a whole series of cartoon stories.

Glad you liked it!

This was great. You’ve started using color in your background. Very classy! I enjoyed this a lot. I laughed. I’m still laughing.

I was laughing the whole way through this! What a perfect combination of Dralihorror and Dralidoodles! As long as Buster isn’t one of the judges, I’d say this entry is a definite contender for the first prize! Excuse me while I wheel Team Possum over to the Mecca deli for proper recycling…

I can imagine Buster’s eyes wide open at the horror of it all. I expect he was hoping Team Possum would return home victorious.
Remind me never to buy “freshly sliced meat” from the Mecca deli counter 🙂
I’m glad you liked my entry!

The Woodland Games sounded like such a nice outdoorsy event. I didn’t expect all the blood and gore. You’re at it again, Ali. You’re the only person I know who can make bloody funny. 😀 Well done. 🙂 — Suzanne

I don’t think Team Possum expected any of that when they arrived for the Games either 🙂

Poor possums. The ending reminds me of that scene in “Kingsman” where everyone’s head explodes, but without the fireworks and pastel colored mini-mushroom clouds. You should consider cinematography.

There’s a film where everyone’s head explodes and I haven’t seen it? To Netflix, Batman!
Yeah, I reckon this would make an excellent movie.

Kingsman is still in the theaters, but probably not for long LOL

It’s no longer on here, but here in rural Cornwall we only have little cinemas. There’s not room for many films 😦
I’ll watch it when it comes on Amazon Prime or Netflix!

Brilliant ending after an exciting and somewhat bloody ccontest. Never trust a Vader, I’d say. First-class artwork, too. I loved this! 🙂

It was a bit bloody, wasn’t it? But the possum always dies in Evil Squirrel’s cartoons. It’s part of the fun!
I’ll pass your compliments on to the DraliDoodles team. They’ll be very happy 🙂

Got me to smiling which is a feat.
Always enjoy your doddles and add a blood bath, I’m impressed.
Thank you.

I’m glad you liked it, it did take quite a bit of planning and then ages to draw the cartoons. A jolly old doodling bloodbath!

Wonderful! Feel a little sorry for Team Possum. But must admit a fondness for Team Vadar, users of the word “pox.” What fun.

I’m afraid Team Possum was doomed from the start 😦
Team Vader were rank outsiders and it showed on the day 🙂 Let’s face it, Team Squirrel was always going to win!
