Have You Seen My Wife – Episode 12

Back in the alley, Dennis took a drag on the cigarette.

“I’m just looking for my wife!” he gasped, and began coughing. Trixie looked at him critically and took the cigarette away from him.

“Hey! I was…” exclaimed Dennis, cutting himself off as a large blond-haired man appeared at the far end of the alley.

“Oy, Trixie’s my girl!” shouted the new arrival. “You want rough, you pay extra or I cut you!” He was wielding a wicked-looking knife.

“Jorge?” asked Dennis. Trixie nodded, her eyes widening as Dennis pointed the gun at Jorge.

“Freeze, pimp scum!” he yelled.

Heh, Jorge should learn you don’t bring a knife to a gun-fight 😉 That last line makes me think Dennis is a former cop of some sort. Great addition!

He should indeed! Possibly a former cop, or maybe he’s just getting desperate, and in a bit of shock – after all, one minute he’s waiting for his breakfast, the next there’s guns, explosions, the NSA…
Perhaps this is going to turn out like the film “Mr and Mrs Smith”!

Oh the pun J.Milbrun! The pun!
The idea of mr and mrs smith popped into my head when he reached over and grabbed the gun haha

I guess if he pops Jorge right between the eyes, he has training! I wanted to do a graphic description of Jorge getting his head blown off but I didn’t have enough words 😦

Aw! We missed out on graphic violence?
Jorge might be grateful for that word count though 😛

I’m guessing that was his first drag on a cigarette, at least in a long time.

Yes, either that or he’s so out of breath he can hardly breathe anyway!
If it’s his first drag for a while it shows how stressed he is.

Didn’t want to blow his brains out, but wanted to do him some damage 😉

Jorge will do one of two things and either one will be great. There is one advantage to waking early in the U.S., I get to write episode 14 as my birthday present to the group. Of course meaning I am celebrating mine today. But this is so much fun I am counting it as part of my celebration!

      Happy birthday!
I’ve been trying to do my submissions when I know many of the participants (i.e. in the US) will be asleep, to minimise risk of crossover 🙂

A good idea. I was planning to wait longer for my second, but this thing seems to be gaining momentum.

Dennis is a lot nicer than me. I would have just shot him. Maybe with Jorge out of the way, Trixie will become more communicative. I think Jorge will be feeding the alley rats shortly.

It did seem to be Jorge she was really afraid of.

Oh now there seems to be a question of Dennis’s past?? Great! I’m off to read the next ones. Ah the excitment!

He certainly seems to know his way round a gun…
