Sharing My World 2016 Week 36
Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World. Week 36 already! Hello, September.
List 2 things you have to be happy about.
Netflix. PS4. What? I’m shallow, me. You wanted something deeper? Friends and family. There you go ๐
If you could take a photograph, paint a picture or write a story of any place in the world, what and where would it be?
I’d love to visit New Zealand. Not just for the Hobbitses, though that’s a big reason! But New Zealand looks like such a lovely place. Shame it’s a bazillion miles away.
Should children be seen and not heard?
Absolutely! In fact, let’s not see them either.
Oooonly joking!
Children need to express themselves so they can grow. However, there also needs to be some discipline. I was recently in a restaurant where the parents let their toddler run around screaming the whole time.
It must be difficult for parents to find the right balance.
List at least five of your favourite first names.
- Blade
- Skylark
- Wishbone
- Ranger
- Butterbean
- Rainbow
I can’t wait to have kids, they’ll love me forever, on accountย of their awesome names.

Wishbone and Butterbean, Ali…? Ha ha. What do you watch on Netflix?
LikeLike
I watch everything!
I’ve just finished Gotham (I keep missing it on Ch5) and Archer and am about 2/3 of the way through How I Met Your Mother. Loads more on the watchlist, but I’ve temporarily defected to Amazon as Walking Dead Series 5 and Arrow Series 3 are now free ๐

You are brilliant, sir. Giving a child any one of those names will assure they are never seen or heard! They will run away from home and join the circus instead…

If you have children some day and give any of them those names listed about, you’ll be in their thoughts alright, but not in a way you’d choose. I take it for granted you’re kidding, right? Tell me you are–please. Hilarious, Ali. ๐ — Suzanne

I’m surprised you missed a boy named Sue! I think we should go with furniture names. I’m thinking Gateleg, or maybe Foldingchair.

Maybe something double-barrelled like Randolph Fitted-Kitchen.

These names are ok to compare with the products of some other parents’ imagination.
I just thought about that restaurant scene. A kid running around, and his dad shouting his name that happened to be one of your list. It would have made my day ๐

If I move to South or Southeast Asia one day (not far-fetched), I will no longer be so far away from New Zealand. ๐
I am looking out for your future kiddies by strongly suggesting against these names. ๐
