Sharing My World 2016 Week 46

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

Are you a traveller or a homebody?
I’m a homebody. It’s okay to take little trips but it’s nice to get home again.

What kind of TV commercial would you like to make? Describe it.
I wouldn’t really like to make one at all. I don’t like watching them either. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I watched an advert on TV – I always record anything I watch on broadcast TV so even if it’s a commercial channel (i.e. it has adverts) I can skip them.

Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.
That’s “A” for “Ali” so let’s give this a go.

Asshole. Oh dear, let’s try again. Asswipe. Oh no, this isn’t going well. Wait! I have one, it’s coming. Aaaaaaaaaaaasshat.

Darn. Let’s try “D” for “draliman” instead.

Douche. Douchebag. Argh, must… concentrate… on… word… d…d…d…d…douchecanoe.

Ooh, I have one! Dirigible. There you go. It’s not going to get any better than that I’m afraid.

List some fun things for a rainy day.
Reading, watching Amazon and Netflix, playing on my PS4 (currently “Elder Scrolls Online”), taking a nice nap. This is all stuff that works on any day!

Loved your description of yourself…great postπŸ˜€πŸ˜‚

  2. November 20, 2016 at 3:00 pm

LOL! Don’t be so hard on yourself.

  3. November 20, 2016 at 7:33 pm

Dirigible is the best name of that little lot, but I can’t decide whether airship or balloon suits you best. A balloon could easily be translated as ‘wind bag’. Nah… that’s no good. You’ll just have to keep working on this one. πŸ™‚

Maybe “airship” – a sense of quiet freedom…

Yes, that would suit you. You can quietly continue to write your hilarious stories. πŸ™‚

Smiles! Loved it. Have a nice week.

  5. November 20, 2016 at 8:00 pm

If you are Dr. Dirigible, are you related to Colonel Blimp? Just asking πŸ™‚

    • November 21, 2016 at 8:48 am

A lot of people wonder that! But no, no relation πŸ™‚

I’m voting for Awesome and Amazing! πŸ™‚

Ha, ha, you were really on an odd streak with those A and D words. Good you stopped while you were ahead. πŸ˜€ — Suzanne

My mind went blank! They were all I could think of πŸ™‚

  9. November 22, 2016 at 4:09 am

I’m still laughing at asswipe. πŸ˜‰

MOL…at least you let it all out, Draliman, maybe now you made room for more kindness on your name…like A for antiques, if it would be Granny’s first letter…well, you know what I mean πŸ˜‰ We want to thank you all for the Birthday wishes for Granny. That really made her day. Pawkisses for a Happy Day πŸ™‚ ❀

    • November 22, 2016 at 12:32 pm

“Antique” hee πŸ™‚ Don’t let Granny hear you say that!
You’re welcome for the birthday wishes, I hope Granny had a great day πŸ™‚

Glad to see your week got off to such a good start!

“oh, to be younger and understand what all this means????” x-box, and anything like it is a foreign language to me.

    • December 2, 2016 at 12:46 pm

It’s never too late to get yourself one! I was way older then “usual” when I got my first console and started gaming fun.

That’s definitely an amusing list of names, Ali, though I have to agree with everyone who says you’re being too hard on yourself!

    • December 5, 2016 at 4:05 pm

Thanks πŸ™‚ It’s not easy to think of self-descriptors, I thought humour was the way to go!
