Sharing My World 2018 Week 2
Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.
Do you prefer a bath or shower?
Shower. A bath never really ends up making me feel particularly clean. I just end up sweating a lot. Plus, I can’t afford to keep taking baths. I had a girlfriend once in the 90s who suddenly started taking a bath every day instead of a shower. She tripled my water bill π¦
What do you do to make a living or during the day? If you are retired what mostly occupies your day? Or if you are a student what are you studying?
I work in IT. Computers and such. I say “have you tried switching it off and on again” a lot.
Is there a stuffed animal in your bedroom?
Oh boy, is there! This is yet another opportunity to show the most posted image on my blog – the lads!
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Nuffin’, init.

Good answers, Ali. Once you get used to a shower I think you’re hooked. In a tub bath I think I’d feel like I was sitting in the soap and dirt I washed off. —- Suzanne

I agree with Patricia on that bath situation – why do people like sitting in their own filth?

I grew up in a house without a shower, so the bath was not optional. I’m much happier to no longer have to sit in water that gets cold way too quickly…
It is funny that I would have to answer NO to the stuffed animal in the bedroom question. The infamous shelf is in my computer room….

We had no shower when I was a kid either. I remember Mum washing the shampoo out of our hair using water from a jug. Showers weren’t a big thing in the UK back then.
The one person in the world who has more stuffed animals than me…

A bath can be relaxing but then a rinse in the shower is necessary.
ha-ha I love when tech support tells me that! That’s the first thing I always try before calling! π

Any excuse to the see the boys is a good one. It seems odd that switching it off and on again is still the best IT solution – and a tad boring possibly for you.

I’ll happily take a bath. And then take a shower to bathe properly. But I love reading while nearly boiling, so relaxing π

I like the fact that an IT professional says simple things like switching it off and onπ I can manage that and repair problems with my pc!
