Sharing My World 19-10-2020
Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.
How many people in real life or on social media (including WordPress, which has become a rather social media site) do you consider good enough friends to help you ‘hide the dead body?
I’m perfectly capable of hiding my own dead bodies, thanks. Ask someone else and you’ll forever be waiting for them to break and tell someone else. Best plan – get someone else to help with the digging, then pop them across the back of the head with the shovel and bung them in the same hole.
Are You Ready To Order? What Are You Having (craving) right now?
Nothing right now but it’s early morning. Sometimes sweet, sometimes savoury, it depends on how I’m feeling.
How’s the weather in YOUR neck of the woods?
Pretty unsettled. A heavy rain shower just finished and it’s currently 9 degrees. Through the day it’s generally reaching 12 or 13 degrees.
“There has always been something.” “Before there was something, there was only nothing.” Which do you think is more likely?
Maybe there were these alien kids in another dimension who created a little universe as a school science project. After only winning third prize – after all, new universes are ten a penny – they forgot about it and it expanded. Now we live there!

It’s not hard, right? Um, so I’ve heard.

I don’t intend to end up with any dead bodies in the future. Of course, that depends on how angry people make me. Just kidding. (Disposal services are far too expensive anyway.)

Your accomplice should have gotten suspicious when you kept saying you wanted the hole just a bit bigger….

Or when I asked him to “just turn around foe a sec, will you?”…

Thanks Alistair for Sharing Your World. So the idea is to ‘beware the friend who has bodies in need of burying…they might just add you to their ‘collection’?’ Bwahahaha! But. Being self sufficient that way does limit the danger of being caught out. I suppose. I have no bodies in need of burying either, but I do have a dog who could help me dig the hole should the need arise… My sympathies on the cold temperatures. It hit a ‘low’ for this year this morning, and there was frost all over everything and my marigolds were looking right peaked. Have a great week!

Fortunately 9 degrees isn’t nearly cold enough for frost, but it is still only October, after all! I think so far this year 6 degrees is the lowest we’ve had so still well above freezing, though I have turned my heating on maybe five times already.

I have a nice big furnace and there’s plenty of fuel around, In fact some people pay me to dispose of their unwanted fuel!

“…After only winning third prize …” So what were the projects that took FIRST and SECOND? Inquiring minds!

I think first prize was won by quite a spiffing “working baking soda volcano”…

Those volcano-makers always seem to do well.

I would never ask anyone to help me hide the body unless…well…your idea is a good one 😉

That way you get some help and keep it secret 🙂

That theory is just as good as any, I’d say.

I dare somebody to definitively disprove it!

Completely agree with you on the matter of bodies.

Yep, it’s a solo activity, at least once you’ve finished.
