Are you busy making preparations for Dec 25th?
I wouldn’t say “busy” exactly. Over the past weeks I have ordered all the food and bought the presents. So I’m nearly there. Either next weekend or the weekend before Christmas I’ll get the decorations down from the loft and put them up.


What is your favourite Christmas/holiday movie?
“Die Hard” obviously. Nothing says Christmas quite like decorations, a work party and a load of bullets and explosions.


What is your pet hate Christmas song?
I’m not alone in nominating Wham’s “Last Christmas”.


Which actor in your opinion made the best Father Christmas?
I can’t even think of any Santa actors off the top of my head.

    Thanks for joining in and glad you have been preparing gradually. I have just a gammon joint to buy and spuds for roasties, but other than that, I’m as organised as I’ll ever be. Final Christmas shop tomorrow as the pensions go in, then I shall have to wrap everything!

        I don’t enjoy it much either as it makes my bach ache, the paper always rips in the wrong place, and the sellotape cutter doesn’t cut!

    On another internet hangout of mine, I had just recently made the comparison that “My Favorite Things” isn’t a Christmas song any more than “Die Hard” is a Christmas movie. Bruce Willis can kiss my arse!

    Die Hard? Seriously.
    Btw, that song is so bad that I at some point grew to love it. Now the one I can’t stand is, Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You (obviously!)
