Do you stay up to toast in the New Year?
No, and now it’s passed I didn’t. I happened to still be awake, I was reading in bed.
Have you ever kept any New Year Resolutions made in the past?
I don’t remember even making any New Year’s resolutions in the past. They would just make me feel guilty when I inevitably didn’t keep them.
Do you have any plans for 2026?
Nope.
What was the highlight/s of 2025 for you?
My little holiday in Pitlochry.

We were still awake at midnight, but not toasting in the New Year. Fireworks were going off and Maya was a little restless so we played some soothing music for her. Managed to get to sleep then some idiot let off a bazooka at 3am!

I don’t mind a few fireworks at the correct time but hate when idiots set them off randomly all over the place.

I feel the same way about the resolutions. 🙂 Bagpipes and nice walks in the woods are always fun!

I’m glad I live in a little village, only a few very brief distant fireworks and it was all over.
