Sharing My World Week 26
It’s half-way through the year and time to Share My World once again. The questions are posed on a weekly basis by Cee – go check out her wonderful photos!
Is your refrigerator, organized or a mess inside?
I’d call it organised, though some might brand it a mess. Everything always goes in exactly the same place every week, so I know where everything is, so that makes it organised.
However, I’ve had it for nearly 6 years and have never cleaned it, so that makes it a mess π
When I moved house in February, the freezer part at the top was so full of ice it filled an entire sink. There’s lots more room in it now!
As I’m feeling generous, here’s a bonus pic – the freezer portion, which sits on top of the fridge.
If you could be famous for one thing, what would it be?
I’m not really sure I want to be famous, but if I were I think it would be as a novelist, in common with many others who have answered this challenge.
Then I would be invited on all those comedy panel shows and I’d be awesome and everyone would love me and I’d be rich and I’d be the nation’s heroΒ and women would throw themselves at me etc etc BWAHAHAHAHAHA.
But I wouldn’t let it change me ‘cos I’m really well adjusted.
What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?
Choose just one thing? That’s a tricky one. Maybe visit New Zealand. Did I ever mention Hobbits before in these challenges? I think I did.
The scenery is very beautiful!
Where do you eat breakfast?
On a weekend, I only have coffee. In fact, coincidentally, some is brewing at the moment! I drink it in the living room.
On a work dayΒ I also indulge in a Kellogg’s Special K “Biscuit Moment”, which I eat at my desk.
That’s all for this week, see you next week!

Al, I don’t blame you for wanting to go to New Zealand. From seeing it on The Lord of the Rings films, it looks absolutely beautiful. I don’t know that I’d want to live there though as they have earthquakes. Your fridge looks great inside.I couldn’t tell it hadn’t been cleaned recently. You keep a neat fridge. π —Susan

I forgot about the earthquakes. I think they had a really bad one there a year or so ago.
I like to be able to find things quickly when I access my fridge – hence the relative neatness π

Just one question, if you haven’t cleaned your fridge in 6 years how does it look so perfectly clean? Please don’t say you only keep fizzy drinks in there lol. I’m with you on the trip to New Zealand it really does look beautiful & magical π

I only keep fizzy… oops, no.
I guess I’m careful not to leave stuff in there to go off so there’s never any weird smells or decomposing food to mess it up.

Plus, if you were famous, someone else would clean your fridge for you π Seriously, it looks far more organised than mine does right now…

That’s true!
Although stuff tends to get lying around the rest of the house, everything in the kitchen is always exactly where it’s supposed to be π

Add a bag of ice, and that could be my freezer. I think. I try not to think about what might really be in there.
New Zealand? Hobbits? Who knew? π

When I defrosted it to move house, it was amazing what was there trapped in the ice! Everything but a woolly mammoth π
Yay Hobbits!

Our fridge is exactly the same. Organized, but not sanitary. I spot clean. Spills get wiped up. Every once in a while I get ambitious (especially when things are glued to the racks by whatever last leaked out) … otherwise? I’m too important for lowly tasks like that.
Are the hobbits living in New Zealand? Can you interview a few for us? Your blogging pals would love to hear you chat with a hobbit. Please don’t get into one of your moods and kill any of them. I know they can be very annoying.

I love it when stuff gets glued to the shelf.
I’ll try to restrain myself when I meet the Hobbits π

Strange that most of us are fascinated with New Zealand.
I like frizzy drinks but quit them a few years ago. I almost bought them today but I resisted. I bought a double box of fudge ice cream bars instead. Ha.
Nice answers DrAli.

NZ looks like such a beautiful country and the Lord of the Rings films did quite a good job for tourism there, I think. It’s just so far away and expensive to get to!
I find fizzy drinks very refreshing (I only drink sugar free ones so I don’t feel too guilty about it). Fudge ice creams bars sound good π
