Sharing My World 2015 Week 33

Here is my Share Your World, hosted as always by Cee at her wonderful photography blog.

What are some words that just make you smile?
“Asshat” and “douche-canoe” (not technically actual words). Thanks, Merby! Kerfuffle (according to Chrome, also not actually a word). Evidently, words which are not words make me smile :-).

You’re given $500,000 dollars tax free (any currency), what do you spend it on?
Me! Mortgage and miscellaneous debts. Pay off my car. Then save for my retirement. I might even buy friends and family a present. Like a chocolate bar or something. If I’m feeling particularly generous I might even buy them a bottle of wine! One bottle between them.

What subject would you like to study in depth, if given the time to do so?
I don’t fancy the idea of studying anything to be honest. Maybe the Jedi path. As long as the study pack comes with a light sabre so I can decapitate muggers.

Would your rather be stuck in a small plane with bad turbulence for 2 hours or be a passenger in a car racing the Daytona 500?
No.

Can I request two chocolate bars? Or is that being greedy?

Good answer on the studies, though I think the Dark Side is the way to go, ultimately. (supposedly they have cookies)

      Two? Okay then πŸ™‚
I’ve heard that about the Dark Side. Or is it just insidious propoganda?

If there’s no cookies I’ll sue.

I like that last answer, Ali. That isn’t much of a choice. Maybe with that $500,000 or lbs you can hire someone else to take your place. πŸ˜€

I didn’t think of that. What a good idea πŸ™‚

If you go with general wizardry, you can go white or black. $500,000 isn’t as much as it used to be.

It might be enough to pay my tuition to Jedi school. Or Wizard college. The problem with wizardry is you don’t get a light sabre.

Kerfuffle is totally a word. Chrome is wrong.

Yeah, that’s what I reckon. It keeps wanting to correct it to “snuffler”. Which is also quite a funny word.

I haven’t used asshat or douche-canoe is a long time. Thanks for the reminder! πŸ™‚

Asshat is almost as good a word as assclown.

That’s another good one – “assclown”. Anything with “ass” in, basically.

Can’t blame you for not wanting to study anything too heavy, right now. Not sure I’d go for the Jedi path, though – although the possibility of getting a light sabre is tempting. And nonsense words are always the best – especially when writing flasf fiction. πŸ™‚

I’d even sit an exam to get a light sabre! Light sabres are cool.

That’s why I like to read fiction, but I found at school that studying and analysing literature often takes the fun out of it πŸ™‚
