Sharing My World Week 40

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

What is your favourite outdoor activity?
? Outdoor? What is this thing of which you speak?

Ah yes, now I remember. Outdoor is the place without the PlayStation, the TV, the Netflix.

I once ventured there, a place of timeless mystery, of things wondrous to behold, a place of majesty.

Didn’t like it. Not going back.

(Walking along cliffs or on moorland or in forests is the actual answer. Anywhere with water is nice. And of course talking photos while I’m there.)

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
If it’s somewhere I know or a long journey, definitely the driver. In a big city I don’t know, the passenger.

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?
Ooh, for me alone. So I don’t have to pretend not to be selfish and wish for world peace. I don’t know now.

A minibus full of supermodels on their way to a shoot gets lost and they press my doorbell asking for directions…

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I’m clicking the link on that website again which Erika sent me. Here goes…

If you are not letting yourself enjoy purity you are obviously not very mysterious.

Deep, man.

    Deep indeed!

I love the outdoors these days–if I’m watching it on TV. Lovely. Good answers, Ali. πŸ˜€ — Suzanne

Good idea. No bugs, no rain, no stampeding cows… πŸ™‚

Who ever bothers to answer their doorbell? I just usually yell GO AWAY and never get up from the computer…

Well, who knows how many minibuses full of lost supermodels you’ve missed…

I agree with your answer about driving/passenger. I would also want to be the driver except in a large city. LOL!

Beautiful outdoor photos! Or are those part of a video game? πŸ˜€

    • October 1, 2017 at 5:19 pm

No, they’re real! A couple of scenes in Cornwall πŸ™‚

    LOL @ your wish(es)?

  8. October 2, 2017 at 1:10 am

Definitely too deep for me! I really like the outdoors, especially when I can go back inside when the bugs come out.

    • October 2, 2017 at 6:25 am

The outdoors is great as long as there’s a handy indoors nearby.

If you passed a broken down bus full of supermodels while on a long drive, would you go out in the bad outdoors to help? πŸ™‚

  10. October 3, 2017 at 4:26 am

My favorite outdoor activity is the part where I walk up the steps to my house. That counts, right? πŸ˜€

    • October 3, 2017 at 6:45 am

Absolutely! In fact, by the time I’ve walked to my car, driven to work and walked into work, my watch reliably informs me that my “heart activity goal for the day has been reached”. And who am I to argue?

I must not be very mysterious because I don’t even know what “enjoying purity” means!

    • October 3, 2017 at 4:19 pm

Well, it’s like, you’ve got your purity, right, and you’re, sort of enjoying it, right,… um… me neither πŸ™‚

Lol! Yep, that was pretty much my thought process.

Hey- cause you’re way special to me, I’ve got a private gig writing about ANYTHING BUT MY LIFE AND ILLNESSES while I take a blog break, if you’d like to check it out.

    • October 5, 2017 at 12:00 pm

Thanks πŸ™‚ I just took a quick look, I’ll have a proper look when I’m at home. “Creepy Kids” looks a bit familiar! Thank you for sending me the link πŸ™‚

Well, the retro blog is now defunct, but there are a few old posts that deserve a replay. Hehe.

        • October 5, 2017 at 4:00 pm

For sure. I enjoyed the retro blog πŸ™‚

Those pictures are so serene, Draliman…very beautiful! I can’t arrange a minibus with models, but I can arrange a minibus with kitties, how about that πŸ˜€ Double Pawkisses πŸ™‚ ❀

And for the other two wishes?! Something unspeakable involving cheese, I suppose. πŸ˜‰ Maybe one of those spray cans of cheese—do you have those in the UK or are they sacrilege to you?

    • October 9, 2017 at 6:50 am

I suppose we have them. I’ve never seen one, seen anyone using one or seen a TV advert for one but they’re probably around somewhere. They just look so wrong 😦 How can you spray cheese?

Can’t believe you’ve been inspired by something for once! Nobody seems to know what the quote means, though. That reminds me of The Emperor New Clothes … only the ‘smart’ people can see his ‘smart’ outfit! πŸ˜‰
