Sharing My World 2018 Week 13
Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.
What is your favourite colour of hair? You can name your hair colour or a colour that you just like.
Wow, I had to add four letter “u’s” to that sentence to make all the red lines go away š
For myself, nondescript brown with grey bits is fine. Woman-wise, any sort of brown, natural blond, or any hair with cool colouring. Highlights, all bright red – it says something about the personality I think.
List at least 5 things that you are good at.
Huh. I’m not particularly good at anything. I’m acceptable at lots of things. Everything I do, I tend to reach “okay” level and get no further. It’s like my job title, which basically means “jack of all trades, master of none”.
What is your favourite animal or type of animal? (pets, dolphins, stuffed, wild cats, etc)
Anything that’s stuffed. In real life, widdle kittens and kitty cats. And bunnies š
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?
I appreciate having a week off this coming week. 10 days off in a row for the price of 4 leave days. Cheap at the price!

Enjoy your days off – going anywhere nice? I hope you’ve calmed down after you u-stress – it’s a common complaint on this here internet thing. And on the hair thing, are women allowed flecks of grey in their brown? I have an acquaintance who says men have to have bits of grey to look distinguished while women should dye to cover any up. The problem is, she lets her roots grow out too far before re-redying and I think that looks a lot worse.

Well, it’s raining again at the moment š¦ I’ve not got plans to go anywhere special, though.
Dying the hair is a big chore I expect, I think you’d need to do it quite often because of the roots. I have a little grey on the sides of mine. Very distinguished-looking š

Have a happy Easter and an enjoyable vacation — doing the things you’re just average at. š From reading your FF stories, I can say you’re good at Imagination.
Now I, myself, am really good at doing jigsaw puzzles. Other people often comment on that. It’s not the most useful skill, but maybe during your holiday you could work on a talent for doing them, too?
I had to smile about your putting in four ‘u’s. My Spell-Check is set for Canadian English, but I get the red lines (for those extra u’s) when I cut and paste to my blog, or do an E-mail. Also extra ell’s and p’s like travelling, worshipping. There—got 2 red lines!

I might make a start on my Lego Millennium Falcon. That’s a bit like a jigsaw puzzle!
I always thought that Canadian English was a mixture of US and UK English, but that Canadians spelt words like “colour” with the “u”, generally.
