Sharing My World 08-02-2021
Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.
In your opinion, do May/December (older partner with much younger partner) romances ever work?
Yes, I’ve seen them work. I’ve had one myself! Obviously that didn’t work.
What physical action or gesture do you find romantic?
That thing where she and and then he . Spicy stuff!
What is your idea of a romantic dinner?
A nice picnic in a pleasant spot.
Is ‘love’ a real ‘thing’ or merely a physical chemical response and brain activity pulling our emotional strings?
Everything is governed by chemicals in the body and brain (including our emotional strings), but does it really matter? Love is… 🙂

I’m with you about the picnic…and about May/December romances. My Nan was 15 when she married Grandpa who was 30. They were still together when he died at aged 98. My mum was 40 and my dad was 60 (I came along 2 years later.) Both my girls married older men. There are 13 and 12 years difference between my oldest and youngest daughters and their respective husbands. 😀

It’s about the people, not the age (within reason) 🙂

I broke my mouse button trying to click on your spoilers, and they still didn’t reveal themselves! I’ll get a new mouse and try again tomorrow…

Great Share Your World today Alistair!! I’m a bit late in the thanks and apologize for that, but sometimes we ALL sleep in. Now I’ll have you know that I filled in the blanks you left in your romantic gesture response, and they were probably ten times dirtier than anything you came up with (maybe). 😉 Wonderful!

I don’t mind picnics as long as there’s a table involved. The bugs find you on the ground. —- Suzanne

Yes, a picnic table is definitely the way to go.

Love isn’t just romantic, it’s my clean blanket on my bed. Or the way my dog looks at me sometimes. Or the feeling after taking a nice poo. 🙂

I think a full-out/ truth-be-told blog on the May-Decemebr thing would make great reading!
Picnics are a aweet romatic geture…. They are ‘walker’ (for the December clientel) accessible?

Possibly a bit too cold and wet for picnics at the moment!
