Sharing My World 14-06-2021

Here is my post for Share Your World, hosted by Melanie.

What did you learn the hard way?
Not to learn things the hard way. I like to learn things the easy way. The hard way’s too hard.

Which activities make you lose track of time?
The frantic activity of looking for my watch after I’ve somehow misplaced it. I have no idea what the time is.

Why do we seem to think of others the most after theyโ€™re gone?
‘Cos that’s when you realise they owed you a tenner. And you spend the next five years contesting the will trying to get your beer money back.

Is it possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
Of course! Not. Or maybe. Possibly.

Yes.

No.

I can’t decide.

Great answers! I lose much time searching for my spectacles whenever I set them down. Haha, we do tend to realise that people owe you money after they move away!

I’ve misplaced my glasses a few times too. They can be only a couple of metres away and I can’t see them ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

I know. I can’t see anything without my glasses either. It feels like hell if I can’t find them!

And you can only tell how much time you’ve wasted looking for it once you’ve found it.

Ah! Thanks, Alistair for Sharing Your World! Laughter is indeed the best medicine and helps a person (me) forget how %!#& hot it is here right now! Great answers, full of your special blend. And I hope you get those heirs to cough up the beer money. Because it’s those little things that mean so much! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have a wonderful week!

We’ve had a couple of hot days here too. Though I’m guessing you wouldn’t consider briefly hitting 23 degrees all that hot. But it’s hot for us ๐Ÿ™‚

HAHAHA! I solved the watch problem by never wearing one. I learned that the hard way. Now if I could only stop wasting time looking for my reading glasses.

I leave mine on my bedside table generally as my regular glasses are fine for most things. But I’m sure as I get older I’ll need them elsewhere and then they’re going to start getting lost ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Lesson you learned the hard way…. never let someone who owes you money die.

Surely there’s something you can give him, Doctor, wake him up for just a minute? He owes me a tenner…
