Sharing My World 08-11-2021

Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.

How many pillows do you sleep with? If over one or two, is it because you sleep better ‘propped up’ a little?
Ha, I had to pop upstairs and check! One pillow. Quite a flat pillow at that. I’m of the opinion that sleeping with my head at a 45 degree angle to the body is probably not the best for your neck.

What would be the worst thing you could put in a piñata?
Poo 😮

Body parts 😮

Those chocolates with the nuts that are always left behind in the variety box at Christmas 😮

What noise annoys you the most?
I hate constantly-barking dogs. How do they find the energy to bark for hours on end? What’s wrong with them? Why don’t the owners get them to shut up? It’s 3 in the morning! These are just some of the barking-dog questions which will never be answered.

If cartoon physics suddenly replaced real physics, what are some things you would want to try?
I’d like to be able to go wherever I like simply by drawing a big hole.

Now, stepping through that big hole is a very appealing thought. I wonder if it would work for certain M.P.’s?

I’ve been barked awake and have endured daytime bark-a-thons for 7 years. Can we put the inconsiderate dog owners in that hole with a pinata full of dog poo?

Draw a big hole under the barking dogs. Now you can finally get some sleep on your flat pillow…

Sounds good. One last howl dwindling to nothing as the dog makes its way towards the Earth’s core…

Thanks, Alistair, for Sharing Your World! If the pillow is comfortable to YOU, no size nor shape is wrong IMHO. It’s all about the sleep. You named two things that haven’t been used as answers all week, but I felt people ‘thinking’ them…you’re very brave to go where no one went before (in a piñata… 😆 ) I have a semi – “yappy little dog’ (he is quiet and usually if he’s quiet, it means he’s up to something I won’t like, like ‘exploring the garbage or leaving me a ‘present’ on the floor… O_o I can say that yes, those owners of said yappy dog at 3 a.m. are tools and have no manners. I’ve found personally (because my dog does NOT yap in the wee hours of the night), that going out and screaming something obscene at the miscreant’s windows helps. Relieves blood pressure if nothing else, and sometimes it scares the dog and it shuts up for a while. Of course doing that cements any lingering doubts your crappy neighbors might have about your sanity level and there could be police involvement, but if the cops show up? Report the dog. LOL Have a great week!

There are three houses I know of in the village where the dogs bark madly every time anybody walks past. It would drive me nuts if I were the owner.
I was surprised no-one else put poo in their piñata 🙂

OMG…why did I not think of barking dogs?!
The woman behind me puts her dogs out all day when she is at work. I’m sure she has no idea that they never SHUT THE HELL UP! I wonder don’t they ever get a sore throat?

That’s exactly what I don’t understand. How can they keep going at such volume for so many hours?

      • November 15, 2021 at 1:15 pm

        Day after day…
I used to work 12 hour night shift and it would drive me crazy when I was trying to sleep!
