Sharing My World 18-07-2022
Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.
In one sentence, how would you sum up the internet?
99% bollocks, 1% really useful.
Is true beauty subjective or objective?
Objective. Everyone likes different things.
How many chickens would it take to kill an elephant?
That would depend on the aggressiveness of the chickens versus the general “wussiness” of the elephant in question. Will he fight back? Will the chickens press their advantage? Are the chickens “tooled up” or will they be fighting “beak to trunk”?
I’ve been unexpectedly killed by psycho chickens in two separate computer games, so it’s definitely doable.
If your five-year-old self suddenly found themselves inhabiting your current body, what would your five-year-old self do first?
Crap itself in shock.

I totally read “one sentence” as “one word”.
All. Week. Long.
Thanks for clarifying. š

I thought you might have. But it’s still one sentence!

I’m doing my best to help the internet keep that 99% bollocks quota intact…

Great Share Your World Alistair! You’re the first to be shocked by that sudden transfer of little kid to an adult (possibly creaking). That was MY response (but I said ‘psychotic break”) . Wonderful answers to all the questions. I never know the difference between subjective and objective, so you’re not alone in that. Have a great week!

I usually get it right, but it was early on a Sunday morning…
I’m sure a 5 year old mind would give a 50+ year old body an instant “cardiac event” š¦

Prompted by your placement of “wussiness” in quotation marks, I looked up the word and found (to my surprise and delight) that it is in the dictionary (and not just the urban dictionary). I didn’t even know that “wussy” was a real word until today. Thanks for the lesson!

Wow, that’s great, I didn’t know, hence the quotation marks! I can use the word with impunity from now on:-)
