Sharing My World Week 7

I’m supposed to be packing and disassembling furniture and whatnot. I don’t think I’ll have time to write my usual flash fictions but I didn’t want to miss sharing my world (hosted by Cee of Cee’s Photography Blog – check it out!), especially since it’s all about couch potatoes, so I’ll quickly bang this out and then get on with my house move.

What is your favourite couch potato activity: readings, watching movies, watching sports, napping, anything on TV, computer games, play cards, or other?
Yes.

What is your favourite toppings on pizza?
Mmm, pizza. Cheese, pepperoni, cheese, chilli beef, chillies, cheese, cheese, ham and not forgetting cheese. Plus half a bottle of Tabasco sauce.

Is that extra cheese? Why yes, yes it is.

 Mmm, extra cheese.

What is is favourite genre of movie or book?
Fantasy/swords and sorcery (eg Terry Brooks, David Eddings, Raymond E. Feist, James Barclay, Elizabeth Moon), urban fantasy (eg Kim Harrison, Ilona Andrews), sci-fi (eg Elizabeth Moon again), cool and clever humour (eg Janet Evanovitch, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams).

Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cake first?
Both together. That’s why they’re both on the cake. Mmm, cake.

You could live here. We eat the same pizza and listen to the same music. And do the same stuff. As long as you also like dogs 🙂

Oh, and read the same books. Same authors. Probably the same dippy TV shows, too.

California Pizza – diced artichoke hearts, twisted tomatoes, diced chicken with goat cheese on a thin crust
    Or pineapple and Canadian bacon
    Or prochetto …
Zucchini cake drizzled with raspberry glaze

      That’s nice of you, thanks!
The bedroom’s full of boxes and I’m sleeping on the couch. I should have time for a couple of posts this weekend and I’ll put up a picture.
The kitchen is almost done, just got to attach the washing machine and test it out (they sometimes break in transit).
The bathroom is done but I need to work out why the hot water for the shower is just a dribble.
The lounge is pretty close – the very first thing I did when I moved in was wire up the TV, DVD player, DVR/internet TV box and surround sound system 🙂
I got fibre internet sorted last Tuesday.
      🙂

Good to hear your getting settled in.

If you have hard water try a new shower head. I’m not picky about a lot but I love my shower heads. I buy a new one every 3 – 4 years. Hope it’s not in your pipes.

So it sounds like you did not paint the place before moving in. I like to paint every few years also, not the entire house just a room or hallway.

Now you can collect artwork from your vacations for your walls. That’s a perk of owning your own home, you won’t be charged for nail holes when you move out.
    Yes please, pictures soon.

It’s something to do with the tap/shower mixer unit – the water pressure from the bath hot tap is very low, but from the sink hot tap is fine. I think there’s a valve somewhere.
No need to paint – it’s wallpapered with paper I might have chosen myself.
As for artwork, it’s been decades since I could “safely” put stuff on my wall! I’m planning on getting some of the amazing artwork from the stores of some of the bloggers on WP.
