Sharing My World 2016 Week 48

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World. Week 48 already, blimey!

Do you prefer eating foods with nuts or no nuts?
No nuts for me. Though funnily enough I really like chocolate with a praline filling. I just Googled “praline” and as I suspected, it has nuts in!

If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?
It would be a flop, I expect. Frightfully boring and whatnot.

Who talks real sense to you?
Me! I do. It probably isn’t good sense but it always makes sense to me at the time. Otherwise I wouldn’t be saying it to myself.

Do you have a favourite board game?
Board game?Β Bored game more like! Haha. Hahahaha. Ahem.

Just kidding. Though I prefer video games. Monopoly is okay. I like games where I don’t like to think. Like Trivial Pursuit – you either know it or you don’t. I do enough thinking at work, thanks. I expect we’ll be playing some games around Christmas time!

Heheh liked your response to board game. Its same with me and so I hate to play chess. It has to be mindless.

If I get dragged into playing chess I quite get into it but, oh the horrible concentration involved!

I disagree. A movie about you would not be a flop, or boring! LOL!

It’s great you talk sense to yourself. You know yourself better than anyone else so you know what you need to do that’s sensible. Good answers, Ali. πŸ™‚ — Suzanne

I think The Adventures of Draliman would be a great film! A super-hero saving mankind, one funny story at a time. You could wear a cape! πŸ™‚

Trivial Pursuits is the game that people who don’t play games will play. We’ve got all this useless stuff in our brains and TP let’s us win a game by knowing really unimportant factoids.

You know you can play Monopoly and Uno on the PS4, right? Against other people, even πŸ™‚

I didn’t know that. When I’m on the PS4 I’m usually knocking houses down rather than building them, though πŸ™‚

Your answer to the question who talks sense to you is absolutely hilarious.
And I quite agree any game that needs too much brain power isn’t a game, it’s mental exercise and life already gives me loads of that on a daily bases.

Ha ha, I can just imagine you giving yourself a good talking to! After all, you know yourself better than anyone else. (I just hope no one in a black van is around while you’re doing it.) πŸ™‚ Monopoly was always the Christmas game during my teenage years and I never really took to all the newfangled ones my children took to. I agree that some games are just plain boring. πŸ™‚

I wouldn’t want to be talking to myself one minute, then dragged off “for my own safety” the next!
Monopoly is always pretty safe. In Christmases past we’ve tried “new” games and usually spend the first hour trying to decipher (and arguing about) the almost incomprehensible rules.
