Sharing My World 2017 Week 35

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World. Cee is on holiday, so this week’s guest host is Emilio! Thanks for stepping into the breech 🙂

Have you ever been pulled over by a cop?
No. Yes. Sort of. It was one of those checkpoint-type things while I was living in Ireland. I don’t know what they were looking for, if anything in specific, but I just rolled down the window, gave him my best grin, said “hi!” and he waved me on.

What have you always wanted? Did you get it?
What I’ve always wanted has changed over the years. Various toys when I was a kid – I got some of them. I always wanted to be a top spy when I was little. That didn’t happen. It’s probably for the best. There’s nothing I particularly want right now. Except maybe a supermodel for a girlfriend. That’s probably not going to happen either. That’s probably for the best too.

What is your perfect pizza?
Every pizza is my perfect pizza! How can any pizza not be perfect? It’s pizza! Here’s one I made earlier…

Yum

What inspired you this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Nothing, as usual. The week came, the week went.

Your pizza looks great, Ali. I remember I was pulled over for turning the wrong way on a street in California. I was eighteen, smiled, said I was from Ohio and was let go with a warning by a young smiling policeman. Good answers. 😀 — Suzanne

I think I saw that pizza in the movie Spaceballs, and it was talking…

I’m not sure what’s all on it, but it does look pretty good…

I never thought about checkpoints. Israel has a lot of checkpoints and mostly, unless there’s an alert, it’s just a stop and wave through.

Occasionally the police do little checkpoints just looking for bald tyres, that sort of thing. Not very common these days as I think they used to do it to check for out of date road tax and the like, but that’s obviously all done automatically by ANPR cameras since it’s all computerised these days.

You wanted to be a top spy? First point: don’t get too close to the target. 😉

Ha ha 🙂 I was thinking of asking them to join me for a drink, it can be awfully chilly sitting in the car.

Great looking pizza, I bet it was yummy! Perhaps it’s the food that spies thrive on when they’re deep into espionage. Hope you find your supermodel, then you can impress her with your pizza! 😀

They may be impressed but I doubt they’ll tuck in 🙂
