Sharing My World Week 52

Here is my post for Cee’s Share Your World.

share-your-world2

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
They could help me out with the cleaning. Well, they wouldn’t be “helping me” as I don’t do it at all. They’d be doing it all themselves.

If you were to move and your home came fully furnished with everything you ever wanted, list at least three things from your old house you wish to retain?
I’m assuming the “furnishings” include TV and whatnot so I guess it would be personal things I would be bringing. I have some photos and some artwork from my friends’ kids so that would all come. I have a load of photos in albums which haven’t been scanned so they would need to come too. Then of course there’s “the lads”.

What calms you down?
Reading and watching TV. Anything which takes me away from “the real life”, which is presumably why I’m not calm in the first place.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I appreciated Lemsip and similar this week. Kept me going and functional 🙂

Reading, watching movies and nature. Sometimes animals over people. Or solitude. Morning coffees by myself.

It seems that you dislike cleaning the house as much as I do. 😉
    Enjoy your Christmas break!

As far as I’m concerned the dust is perfectly fine right where it is 🙂
      Merry Christmas!

Cute collection, not something I would expect to see in a “bachelor pad”.

Yeah, I can’t understand how I’m still single, what with all the soft toys and Star Wars Lego everywhere.

You just haven’t found a lady who appreciates you. Women love to laugh. Most of us put that ahead of any other trait. YOU are a funny guy. But dating and stuff is hard. We all have these check lists and dismiss people over the silliest things instead of appreciating them for the people tat they truly are.
Ha…don’t get me started on this one.
        Merry Christmas Ali!

I expect they’ll be knackered by the time they’ve sorted my place but I’ll see what I can do 🙂

Well, I’m glad to see that everyone is OK and didn’t really suffer any of those “misfortunes” from Grandpaw’s story!

And I have to snicker about Dawn’s comment above! Bachelors can enjoy cute things too!

No, it was all done with special effects. Pretty cool, huh?
      Yeah, exactly!
Speaking about cute, I encountered a squirrel on the road earlier. Do they have no road sense at all? Every time I changed direction it moved with me. Fortunately I didn’t hit it and it made it to the hedge.

Do the lads not help out with the cleaning? I’d have thought they might do for the free board. Hope the Lemsip continues to work it’s magic. 🙂

They certainly ought to, though I guess they do help to gather dust 🙂
I think I’m on the mend at last.

Hope you keep feeling better, Ali. Love the answers; I’d choose cleaning, too. Hands down.

I’d take someone to help me clean in a heartbeat. The mess never seems to go away or get better!
