FF – The Great Mafesto
Here is my story for Friday Fictioneers, hosted by Rochelle. This week’s photo was contributed by Priya Bajpal.

The Great Mafesto growled. The sink was full of shells again and his favourite cocktail had transformed into an ornament. Those damn pixies, always causing trouble!
The Great Mafesto looked high and low and found the pixie hiding in a corner giggling. He clicked his fingers and the pixie shrieked, bursting into flames. No-one makes fun of the Great…
TOMMY! The toilet’s blocked! If you’ve been shoving shells down the sink again, young man, so help me I’ll…
The Great Mafesto made a hasty exit through the French windows, cleverly escaping the wrath of the Monumentous Magnificent Mother…

If he thinks he’s in trouble now, just wait until the Momentous Magnificent Mother notices the charred remains of a pixie in the corner…

It might have been a possum, to be honest…

I’ll read your story as soon as Google lets me – there’s some sort of certificate error it’s telling me, and it won’t allow me on the page 😦

He is probably a speshell child. Glad he clammed up and escaped the wrath of the mother.

Dear Ali,
Oh dear. This could be Walter Mitty as a child. Cute on. When my kids were younger, one of them flushed his older brother’s Star Wars action figures. We had to use the neighbor’s facilities for a few hours.

Dear Rochelle,
I’m glad you liked it!
I’m more upset about the travesty of flushing Star Wars memorabilia than your toilet facilities. Oh no, please, not Han Solo too, please, no 🙂

This gave me a good laugh. Very cute story, and I’m afraid the future of the great Mafesto is somewhat restricted.

LOL…a child’s imagination is the best (except of course whne it clogs the toilet) but besides that…the best!
