Sharing My World 04-05-2020

Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.

What can you break even if you don’t touch it?
My first thought was “the heart”. Other people have gone with “a promise”. Apparently there is “a real answer to this”. I wonder if it’s something real rather than an abstract noun.

I, of course, can break many things without touching them due to my Jedi powers.

What’s the most useful thing you own?
My brain. Without it I can’t remember how to use all the other useful things I own.

What’s The Silliest Reason You’ve Ever Gotten Into A Fight With Someone Over?
I can’t remember the last time I got into a “fight”. Probably with my one of my ex’s. You know how that goes, eh? 🙂

If You Were A Snake, How Long Would You Want To Be? No, size does not matter.
Ah, the snake. Universally a symbol of insidious back-stabbing nastiness. Slipping through the grass of life, a word here, a remark there, causing trouble and moving on, slippery, slidey, they cheat, they lie and are never seen, motes of dust, shadows in the night…

Sorry, what was the question again?

Thanks Alistair for Sharing Your World!! Quite the post, what with Jedi mind powers, brains and abstract snakes! 😆 My ‘ex’ is dead – which is why he’s an ex. I was married. Once. Once was plenty, I got the t-shirt and the experience, which did not bear repeating. We all have stories about them…do THEY bear repeating? I guess not…. Have a wonderful ‘mother’s day’ (if you celebrate. Maybe with an ex? 😆 )

Mother’s Day was in March here! I left some goodies on Mum’s front step as she started isolating due to her age a couple of days before the lockdown. But at least I got to see her (from a distance). Another week and I wouldn’t have been allowed.

I will hide the fine china when you visit! Fun answers! 😀
Snakes are also the symbol for rebirth, reinventing oneself and reincarnation. 🙂

Ooh, I didn’t know that, that’s interesting. I’m guessing the negative imagery of snakes comes from the Bible so it’s probably religion-specific (apart from the dying-horribly-from-a-single-bite thing).
I don’t need to visit, my Jedi powers are long-range 🙂

So my Royal Albert will henceforth be locked in the safe. Surely your Jedi powers cannot open a safe! 😀
Yes I agree; one must avoid snake-bite at all costs!

Jedi powers are not to be spoken of in public. Did you forget the code? It’s OK though. I can’t tell anyone of the mis-step because then I would have to speak of them.

Sneaky snaky slithering … Just how Garry feels about snakes. For me, it’s spiders.

Slithering snakes or scuttling spiders – I shudder at both.

Hmm… I thought I already commented on this. Maybe I just didn’t hit the publish-button, or it’s in your spam. Anyway, I was expressing doubt about the possibility to break a heart without previously having touched it. And then I put on this drum whirl afterwards, to underline the depth and brilliance of the comment.
