Sharing My World 18-01-2021
Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.
Why do we dream?
Are they dreams? Or are they a separate reality? Are they the only reality? Am I dreaming now…?
(Dum dum DUMMMMM)
Do you think a person’s name influences the person they become?
No. Although my neighbour from up the street, Arsehole Divvybrain, is a right divvy brain. And he can be a bit of an arsehole on occasion.
I expect that’s just a coincidence, though.
Does hardship make a person stronger?
Not me. Hardship makes me pissed off.
Why do we judge ourselves by our intentions, but judge others by their actions?
We can’t know others’ intentions. I always know what I intend, though, for good or… evil bwahahahaha.

Does everyone call him Arsie for short?

Not to his face.

These days it’s possible to legally change your name and I think some people have a good reason to do so. Some parents are idiots when it comes to naming their children. They thoughtlessly sentence their child to a lifetime of fighting back against bullies. —- Suzanne

Yes, the only way a lot of them get away with it is because their parents are celebrities. It’s not the done thing for famous people to name their kids “Bob” or “Sally”.

I think even some of those kids have changed their names. I read Prince Jackson, called Blanket by his father, changed his name to Bigi. Although different from most, it was his choice.

Great answers as always! Divvybrain’s cousin lives next door to me. A nightmare in both my dreaming and waking life (which may or may not be the same thing).

It’s pretty bad when your nemesis has invaded both worlds 😦

Thanks so much Alistair for Sharing Your World! I love the humorous flavour you give your answers, even to the most stark questions. It’s amazing in a way, but they hired Arsehole Divvybrain’s third cousin on his father’s side to drive truck over here. I know it’s him and that general family, because the arsehole leaves his %$!@ rig running all hours, and parks right near my back door. It’s really sad they let those sorts of folks procreate… 😉 Have a great week!

There’s always those like that, playing their car stereo full blast in a residential area, leaving their cars switched on for ages so their mates can “ooh” and “ahh” at their huge noisy engines…

Hardship pisses me off and usually involves money — the lack thereof.

I doubt it makes many people stronger. It’s just something people say.
